Shhh on 5-2, the next two are winnable but teams playing fairly well at the moment and we’re on a 4 game 11 day stretch here with a bunch of injured kids.BigHoss wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 5:35 pm I really like this team and believe in them a ton. I think after watching this game, it could be a season altering moment. As a fan of high level sports, I’ve come to understand how learning how to win is a very difficult process. This team is pretty young and inexperienced, and they needed to learn how to win and close out a big game. As choppy as it was at times, the big takeaway should be that these guys learned how to win and they’ll be confident that they can replicate that. To me, they should be 5-2 after the Providence game. Offensively, they are dangerous and they played very well yesterday. Anthony is almost Aslanian like… not in stature but in his ability to control a game. He’s one of the best players in the A10 no question. There are so many guys who can make an impact and a different player can light it up on any given day, that’s the sign of a truly efficient offense. They are figuring it out defensively too, I thought Julian Race was extremely good when he was out there. He has Stanny Gilbertson level explosiveness. Coach picks the numbers for a reason, I think he sees that potential too. Can’t wait for Tuesday.
Supposedly replay one ESPn+ but can’t find it as I barely got through half before I had to focus on coaching my kids team but didn’t recall seeing race in the first half - had been hopeful w him. Believe he was a Section 6/WNY AA at St Joseph’s before going to Western Reserve to kind of finish off.
