Yes, there's still a chance. But I'm about as ready for it to be over as the team seems to be.

Time to get Darby out of there. He doesn't need this

And yet, you STILL won't see any new faces playing in the fourth.

The positive, you don’t have to hear the band much today.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

Called it. Though I'll be low on the PSU score and high on the Hopkins.steel_hop wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 11:55 pm One thing about Petro over the last 10 years has been the complete inability to beat or stay competitive against a team where he is a big dawg (real any dawg) so tomorrow wont be any different. If this was Bill Tierney, I'd suspect they hit 20, but since Tambroni and Petro are boys, JT will call off the dogs when when he hits 16-17 at the 3rd quarter.
The final score will be omething like 18 -13.
This game is over and, yet, no subs on the part of Petro. Heaven forbid we give some other guys a chance.

It would stink but you need to get the coach right. Players are only there for 4 years. As we can see coaches can become entrenched.

Wonder who offered Brennan O'Neill the advise to change his commit just prior to signing.
He could have stepped right into this.
Ament, O’Keefe, O’Neill.

Watching this game as someone who roots for neither team . . .
How is it possible a high end D1 program could have so little foot speed?
I don't care what Quint does in his Top 20 poll tomorrow but if JHU is anywhere near it . . . this is not a Top 20 team right now.
Is it time to question whether recruit rankings assume that if JHU is recruiting the kid they should be ranked, instead of whether their recruits get over-ranked? Are JHU commits not as good as they get ranked in general? Or is the player development seriously flawed?

Well, at least Hopkins didn’t get wrapped into that college admissions scandal this year.
So, there’s that.
So, there’s that.

You can’t teach speed.

Danny Jones Needs to be Benched
Sorry, but I’ve never seen a Johns Hopkins captain make so many stupid mistakes in a single season as Danny Jones.
Not only has Jones played a mediocre game, but he follows up a bad turnover with a blatant, obvious penalty.
That’s not Hopkins lacrosse.

That's a frustration foul, and is why the starters should not be in....they should be resting up for next week. Not only has Jones played a mediocre game, but he follows up a bad turnover with a blatant, obvious penalty.

I think you are seeing the last remnants of the old recruiting rules, and Petro for some bizarre reason went all in on it. The NCAA has saved him from his worse instincts, but will he have the opportunity to rebuild?LRoggy wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2019 1:54 pm Watching this game as someone who roots for neither team . . .
