At this rate by the time she leaves NU she may break record for all time points and goals in NCAAJustalaxdad wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 9:47 pmI watched the game, didn’t seem to me that Izzy was forcing anything. Every coach and former player will tell you that. Izzy Scane all but has he has the Tewey wrapped up but cmon..Get some of the other players in, run offensive sets not just give it to Izzy and see what happens.user1020 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 9:10 pmShrug is right. Six goal scorers and five players with assists in the Syracuse game. It's not like Scane's the only one doing the work.Kleizaster wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 8:52 pm we all love the Scane train but NW's lack of secondary scoring may be their undoing this year..against better teams others will have to step up
And, of course, as I say this, Izzy Scane scores her eighth goal of the evening lol
And make that 11 points now.
Actually, make that 12.
NU timeout. Time for more of the bench to come in?

Notre Dame coach is not exactly the pick of the litter.

Syracuse 14 - Maryland 7
8:15 left in third

Another player-down goal for Syracuse
Re: Live Game Action
Cuse 18 MD 7 - 6:42 to play. Could Cuse get a running clock?
Re: Live Game Action
And that's a very soft 4th yellow
Re: Live Game Action
I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong about that game! I was expecting an orange loss and if by some chance they got the win I thought it would be pretty close. Maybe all of us doubters are in need of a reevaluation

Same, what a great start to a weekend with several big matchups. IMO unexpected results like this are a bit far and few between in wlax.
Re: Live Game Action
Don't know who Larry is. Apparently one of the officials had written down numbers 1 and 5 had yellow card calls on them. There is no #5 but there is a #15 (Nat Smith) and she did have 1 yellow card. Clerical error on the official's part, pretty sure it was the black guy who is the one who made the "soft yellow" card, which shouldn't have been a yellow card at all, call which then made it 4 on Cuse. He was the one claiming that Cuse had four and had to be corrected. If you watch the replay you'll see the NU girl stumbled and tripped on the 4th YC call (made by the black guy), Goodale had nothing to do with her hitting the turf, hence her laughing and shaking her head all the way to the penalty box. As a crew I thought the officiating left much to be desired and the two males were the worst.

Larry is hit or miss. Depends on the day but overall, I think he's pretty good. He does a lot of ACC games so I have seen quite a number of games with Larry in charge. The other short guy is the worst!Dr. Tact wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 8:21 amLarry Carr https://www.usalacrosse.com/news-media- ... 022-eventsDMac wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 7:45 am Don't know who Larry is. Florida is still Florida I see…
Re: Live Game Action
amazed too with all that offense for Florida and nothing. Maybe UNC defence should have been on the US Lax Mag cover and not Maryland lol

I was specifically alluding to their 3 yellow cards in the first 17 minutes.
UNC looks good..more cohesive than they did against JMU. Florida is also shooting themselves in the foot.

UVA with the running clock on Princeton at the top of the 4th
Re: Live Game Action
Final was 20-11 UVA. Princeton lead 4-0 and 5-1 but it was all Cavaliers after that. Shortest drive of the year for the 08055 crowd? Well worth the trip, eh?
