They do have six different goal scorers and six different players with assists so far tonight. Six goal scorers and five players with assists in the Syracuse game. It's not like Scane's the only one doing the work.

And, of course, as I say this, Izzy Scane scores her eighth goal of the evening lol
At what point does scoring 10 points a game hurt the team more than help it?
Who knows? They are winning, though, so ::shrug::

And make that 11 points now.

Actually, make that 12.

NU timeout. Time for more of the bench to come in?
Shrug is right. Don’t get me wrong Scane is a phenomenal player, but if I was a coach I just couldn't support that style of offense.
In women's lacrosse you can't have a one woman offense and expect to win at a high level. Every coach and former player will tell you that. Izzy Scane all but has he has the Tewey wrapped up but cmon..Get some of the other players in, run offensive sets not just give it to Izzy and see what happens.
9 players have taken shots for Northwestern in this game. 7 of them have scored goals.
I watched the game, didn’t seem to me that Izzy was forcing anything. She was just flat out the best player on the field…by far.
At this rate by the time she leaves NU she may break record for all time points and goals in NCAA ;)

...and if you were Izzy's coach you'd likely drive her to the transfer portal.

Lets hope so because ND had no game plan whatsoever. Random defenders on her, no lock off, never even slid with a second defender when she drove. They even left her open on cuts. Someone who watched the game give me 1 defensive scheme ND tried on Scane.
Notre Dame coach is not exactly the pick of the litter.

Cuse 18 MD 7 - 6:42 to play. Could Cuse get a running clock?

I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong about that game! I was expecting an orange loss and if by some chance they got the win I thought it would be pretty close. Maybe all of us doubters are in need of a reevaluation

Right, because that official was hell bent on making sure Cuse got their fourth after calling it wrong when they had three.
Didn't like the officiating in this game.

Same, what a great start to a weekend with several big matchups. IMO unexpected results like this are a bit far and few between in wlax.

Don't know who Larry is. Apparently one of the officials had written down numbers 1 and 5 had yellow card calls on them. There is no #5 but there is a #15 (Nat Smith) and she did have 1 yellow card. Clerical error on the official's part, pretty sure it was the black guy who is the one who made the "soft yellow" card, which shouldn't have been a yellow card at all, call which then made it 4 on Cuse. He was the one claiming that Cuse had four and had to be corrected. If you watch the replay you'll see the NU girl stumbled and tripped on the 4th YC call (made by the black guy), Goodale had nothing to do with her hitting the turf, hence her laughing and shaking her head all the way to the penalty box. As a crew I thought the officiating left much to be desired and the two males were the worst.

Larry is hit or miss. Depends on the day but overall, I think he's pretty good. He does a lot of ACC games so I have seen quite a number of games with Larry in charge. The other short guy is the worst!

amazed too with all that offense for Florida and nothing. Maybe UNC defence should have been on the US Lax Mag cover and not Maryland lol

I was specifically alluding to their 3 yellow cards in the first 17 minutes.

UNC looks good..more cohesive than they did against JMU. Florida is also shooting themselves in the foot.

Final was 20-11 UVA. Princeton lead 4-0 and 5-1 but it was all Cavaliers after that. Shortest drive of the year for the 08055 crowd? Well worth the trip, eh? :)
