Normal for pro sports that don’t practice two hours each day sure. Normal for college kids not really. These guys get lots of cardio and daily yoga/stretching. If this was part of the regular routine for this team fine but it’s not and that’s why it was and is noteworthy. This was an over zealous coach who decided he wanted to send a message after a big win that more work was needed. One small problem. He didn’t factor in Tuesdays game and the kids has tanks.HopFan16 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 9:40 pm This wasn't the difference in the game, but I thought the zebras were supposed to be emphasizing hits to the head this year? Peshko took a crosscheck to the head/neck on the crease goal that was waved off. I doubt we'd have scored on the man-up given how that unit looked today but if you're going to go out of your way in the offseason to tell people you're taking these hits more seriously, then maybe make this call. In slow-mo it looks like he was pushed in the back too, but to me that was less egregious than the crosscheck to the dome. Twitter sure seems to think that was a goal. I'd say we should let Twitter ref the games instead but that probably wouldn't work out for us most of the time.

Exactly. Anyone who has ever played a sport competitively knows that this is completely normal.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 9:36 pm Quint mentioned it was a short 45 minute “workout”. I took it to mean a cool down routine. Could have very easily been 30 minutes of cool and a stretch. He also mentioned nutritionist and specialists. I highly doubt Hopkins is going through a strenuous workout post game. Good game tonight. They will be fine.
If it’s so normal were they in the gym last night? I asked around and they were not.
