I thought I saw a separate thread at one point for the 2023 poll. Did that get deleted?

I'd vote we go with a new thread...

You're correct. There was a 2023 FanLax Forum Poll thread and I merged it with this thread. I can recreate it.

On Chrome, the picklists are white and the text is off-white. Holy god is that terrible.

When you make a selection the background turns gray so you can read it, but otherwise it's nearly unreadable.

Also, would love to experiment with different modes of filling this out. Something akin to: On the left side of the screen, slots 1-25; on the right side, a list of all of the team names, maybe even with multiple columns (so you don't have to scroll) and/or abbreviated. The drag and drop the team names into the slots. Once you've selected and ragged a team name, it's not available to be dragged anymore (makes it impossible to select a team twice).

Finally, the poll page available from the front page of the site points to last year's polls, with no link to the poll for this week. If I hadn't known it was in this thread I wouldn't have been able to find it.

From the drop down menu on the top bar, click "Resources" and then "FanLax Forum Polls". At the bottom of the page, where it says, "Forum Poll Submissions", that's where the links to the Forum Poll are.

Better have had Hobart #1 in both polls like you were compensated for.

I'm going to skip my submission this week. I don't think it makes sense (for me) to make a poll until the Ivy League starts play. I'll submit one next week.

In the meantime, just some observations:

• UVA will probably claim the #1 spot in the "official" polls. Or will it be Notre Dame?
• Hopkins needs to be considered for the top 10. Two very solid wins over Georgetown and Jacksonville. Can they keep up the clean O play and great goalie play?
• Syracuse probably back in the top 20 on the strength of their Vermont win. Maryland game will be interesting.
• Villanova the class of the big east right now. I think Penn State is a much better team this year.
• Georgetown will drop out of top 5 but has the chance to be back quickly.
• Same with Maryland.
• Loyola top 10?

I was reading the IL poll and thinking how pointless it is when 6 Ivy teams are ranked and they're all 0-0.

Also Hopkins winning 2 games is an automatic top 10. I'm surprised Syracuse isn't there too tbh.
