I am not going to change your mind clearly, but gambling is becoming legal in more and more states. If done responsibly it can be a fun way to have a vesting interest in sporting events. Do you invest money in the stockmarket? A lot closer to that can your comparison to the opioid crisis...

Personally, I wish this FanDuel turd would be banned from these boards. Nothing more tedious or irritating than a bunch of yobs talking spreads and the like, and I'm suspicious that there are plants trying to drum up business for these sports-book a-holes.

That is correct, I like Duke as well, but I expect Jville to bounce back. Jville lost to JHU and beat Duke last year. Not saying they will win, but thinking it could be more competitive than a 6 goal margin.

I think Marquette means business this year. Bobby O'Grady is the most underrated player in the country, scored 45 goals as a freshman last year.

I also like BU this weekend, but do not want to be burnt by UVM twice in 2 weeks...

Friday: Syracuse offense starts ticking and plays a great game, defense keeps Albany to around 6 goals and Syracuse is able to cover -6.5. Bold pick, but I think Friday night lights in the Dome push the needle.
