you should send a letter to the nc$$ about their criteria about good teams, then, if that's your contribution.
Notre Dame 2023
Re: Notre Dame 2023
Nah. I’m good. Notre Dame should try winning more lacrosse game this year though.
Re: Notre Dame 2023
Sure. Not everybody had a whole campaign out there about how they had let the best team in the country out of the tournament despite the fact they hadn’t accomplished anything. Or alums who worked for “the source of the sport” calling the head of the committee the c-word. But I digress. I did think Corrigan was very magnanimous. I do think they’ll be in the tournament in 2023. Maybe they’ll finally win it all this year.
Re: Notre Dame 2023
what i've seen in some corners is a lack of separation re: the partisan village idiots on twitter, etc. and the actual candidacy of the team. it probably continues to this day.
no predictions from me.

Re: Notre Dame 2023
I'm not sure how far they will go this year, either, but I don't expect just one team from the ACC to make the tournament.
Re: Notre Dame 2023
Oh I don't think they should have made it in anyway. I would have been fine if they made it in, it was a close call, but I was fine with them being left out. Such is life on the bubble. That's why you don't want to be there.
I'd have them as a Top 10 team to start this year and I do think they'll be better than last, but I admit to being a little bemused at pegging them as national title favorites or #1 to start the year. Even if you think they should have been in, they were not a Top 5 team and they haven't been a Final Four team since 2015. And they tend to fall into the same trap every year of always being very good but never being great. MD, UVA, Duke during their best years, Yale...when they're great, they're at an elite level. ND tends to be about the same every year. They're good. But even their best teams tend to not be much better than their regular run of the mill teams.

Wouldn’t want to be Marquette today,
guessing that Corrigan is looking for someone to lay
a beat down on.

With their transfers and team chemistry and... I'm just very curious to see what they look like. Who starts where and how do they perform.

I'm curious about Jeffrey Ricciardelli.
Re: Notre Dame 2023
Right. Will he start? Get real PT at the least? How many points? I hear that. Could be a star with real points. Or... Could just get got-me-into-the-fantasy-play-offs-but-nothing-more points.

Re: Notre Dame 2023
Yeah, that was a good pick up,
a decommit from UPenn.
Taylor is the guy they’ll miss - he looked like he provided a large
amount of energy in last year’s year end run.
And really, made Corrigan’s offense a lot more fun to watch.
Re: Notre Dame 2023
Ricco had five goals today. ND O in synch, their D however not up to usual standards with Marquteer hitting double digits despite limited possessions
Re: Notre Dame 2023
Saw the box score. Any details? E.g. middie lines.

FWIW, I've seen Entenmann play up close. My initial thought vs Marquette is that he's the type of goalie who needs to be engaged and in constant action to be at his best.
Re: Notre Dame 2023
Anyone know why ND played this game indoors? Was the midwest weather a factor? Field conditions? Isn't their outdoor field turf? Seems the winter weather gods have been smiling on lax this year...at least so far.
Re: Notre Dame 2023
Wondered this myself. It was 45 and clear in South Bend at gametime yesterday. Easily could have been played outdoors to accommodate more fans. Then again, they don't have any fans.
