To think that facility is ONLY for lacrosse is unreal. I know recruiting at the service academies ebbs and flows bc of the fact that they are service academes and that is not for everyone but DAMN, those facilities IMHO area game changer!

yes. it's hard to believe that's for lax and at an academy. but kudos and hope everyone enjoys it.

Just finished. Pretty much. https://www.gonavysports.com/ron-terwil ... ntathletes
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

Looks like the 1st floor is elevated a couple feet & is more flood tolerant than the 2nd level.

Wow! Awesome looking facility! Might Navy’s first national title(since the tournament began) be coming sooner than people think?

Jack Thomas passed for over 3,000 yards in 3 years and
Joe Cowan ran for over 1,000 yards in two years,
for Hopkins,
Coach Chic also played football and lacrosse.

Hobart has had many football/lacrosse players over the years.
That’s going to stop now we’re allowed to give athletic money due to the split divisions.

I played football with a few like Kevin DeWall, Scott Yoder, Tony Aguilar and Jamie Breslin but the best in my time was probably Tim Booth-https://www.leagueathletics.com/Page.as ... h.lacrosse

Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Going back to the season. One game that really interests me, and which may well have the potential to be very good, is the Villanova game.

Joe Cowan was also drafted by the Colts

Hopkins had wuite a few multi sport athletes

Navy made a living w football players also playing lacrosse until Spring Football practice became a thing. Bildy expressed the thought that spring football practice really put a dent in their program

Jimmy Lewis was a 3x first team attackman when freshmen could not play. He won the Turnbull three consecutive years his team was undefeated three consecutive years. Navy won three consecutive titles. He was also a first team soccer player. Navy won one title snd reached the semis the other two years. He scored the only goal the year they won

Anyone have an update on the scrimmage today vs Virginia?

All I saw was scores on Twitter. Seems like we were up 6-5 at half.

Congratulations to Syd Abernathy’81, classmate, 4 year company mate, and friend on his well deserved selection into the Chesapeake chapter of USA Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

Could not happen to a more deserving person on so many levels.

For those no pocket sticks,

you could take a razor and discreetly slice a bit of the inside of
the foam - as long as you weren’t too obvious.
It helped a bit.
