As the season is a few weeks away, just wondering any thoughts on the upcoming season. UIndy had 3 mid season transfers that I think will really help. Final scrimmage on the 28th vs Detriot Mercy. How is everyone else looking?

Who are the 3 transfers/where are they from? And, any word on what happened to Denver transfer- Pat O'hara? Saw he was running 2nd mid last year.

Lenoir-Rhyne had a couple of transfers this year who should contribute. Rob Pensabene (Cabrini) and Nolan Hoffman (Colorado Mesa) both are fighting to be the starting goalie. Colton Padgett (Cabrini) will play for the defense and Riley Seay (Loyola) will start at either Attack or Midfield.

Wingate had Luke Hickam (Army-West Point) transferred in and will see time at Attack.

UIndy brought in KC Carlson from Wingate and Jake Allen from Maryville. Zander Torres from UDC was on the roster briefly but sounds like he is not on campus. Not sure of the status there now.

Gotcha! Those guys will help. Interested to see how the Anderson transfer- Triston Schaffer does.

He looked really good in the fall scrimmage vs Detriot. I think he had 2 or 3 goals if I remember correctly. He is going to be really good for UIndy

Sounds on brand for him. I think he scored 10 goals or something crazy in his last game with Anderson. Is he taking that righty attack spot? R- Him, X- Billig, and L- Auyer?

Ben Foster will be in that mix as well. He had some injury issues last year but will be good for this year. Also, Patrick O'Hara left UIndy.

I have the same question with UIndy as I do with Mercyhurst.

Do they have middies who can consistently beat their man?

That was both team's problem as last season went on. 2 of the best attack lines in D2 but if no one can draw a slide, their offense dies.

Yes, I agree. The transfer Allen will help and Torres would have been a big addition to the middies but does not look like he will be in play. Look for O Braddock to have a big year. Scored 3 vs LR in the NCAA tourney game.

IL D2 Top 20. I think is one is pretty good. Not as good as USILA but better than US Lacrosse.

What do y'all think Anderson can do this year? I think they have speed run the program building process and found extremely impressive success. I think a lot of this has to do with their location close to a much larger school (Clem). Same extracurriculars as Clem but w/ the chance to go play D2 on a scholarship. Would love to hear more insight!
