I have no real interest in this topic. However, Ohio State recently posted its '23 roster with pics and bios. All five of the reported transfers to Ohio State are still listed on the roster. That includes Marcus Hudgins (Army), Kyle Borda (Fairfield), Richie LaCalandra (LIU), Justin Sherrer (Maryland) and Kyle Lewis.

So I have no idea who 1766 could possible be referring to.

Looked at the roster and did not see the freshman goalie from St. John’s. Any insight or does he have another year of high school?

Was watching an interview with coach Myers and he talked about Richie a lot playing Attack so I'm sure he's eligible and playing this season. That guy was talking about fall ball and didn't have his facts straight.

I knew Rutgers would make the tournament last year when you said they wouldn't. I knew Kirst was coming back when you said he wasn't. I know Rutgers will beat Army on their own field this year. I guess we will see about this.

Just to follow up on this I see One of the transfers was listed a a pre-season HM All American. Also I believe all of the transfers are listed on their roster and when Instagram or Twitter shows training from the opening day of practice in 2023, the transfers are shown in the photos. I am not saying the one poster who said don't expect to see the transfers is right or wrong but it would seem like they are rostered and going to play.

I believe in standing behind what you post and if my information was wrong, than I will put my hand up and say so. Maybe it was fall ball only. I do hope all the transfers play.

Never said I was perfect.

In terms of information, I can't hit a homerun every time. Even so, my sources are typically either directed involved or one removed. Happy to eat crow here if so. I don't like seeing guys forced to sit, transfers or not.

OSU can make noise in the Big Ten as they have several plug-and-play transfers and play Rutgers at home. Lewis and Lacalandra are going to be key pieces in the offense. while I do not think they are at UMD's level they certainly will compete with Rutgers for that second spot.

I would've thought the two Hobart transfers would do more last year and frankly one could argue Drew Blanchard was the reason OSU made the playoffs last year as he spelled Inacio and succeeded nicely against ND (https://ohiostatebuckeyes.com/wp-conten ... -ND-11.pdf) in that key win so they have both him and Jason Knox coming back as well. Knox is a better pure scorer than LaCalandria but for whatever reason they utilized him less and less as the season progressed but he was still the 4th leading scorer almost double the next highest in pts at 24,3 on 46% shooting. So will be interesting to see how the new transfers blend with the ones from last year on offense.

hey, if hank aaron couldn't do it, we can't expect you to. plus, whenever you can float an unfounded rumor on specific kids' eligibility in a negative light, you have to do it, right? it doesn't affect you any, really. and if you're right, another home run for you!

Well both Hudgins and Lacalandra are eligible to play the season. Great news for the Buckeyes

Keaton Zavitz, a 2023, decommits from Drexel
to OSU -
he’s a killer, a big big recruit for a school like Drexel

but OSU made an offer he couldn’t refuse,

on par, but better, much more fundamental than
current OSUer Trent DiCicco,
