Pre Season ODAC rankings IMO
1. LYN
2. W&L
3. HSC
4. RMC
5. NOKE
6. Shenandoah
7. Guilford
8. Va Wes
9. Ferrum
10. Randolph

POY: Mitchell, LYN / Hubbard, W&L / Kammerman, Noke. Would say that Kammerman & Hubbard have the initial edge based on relevance.

Surprised to see anyone put Roanoke back, based on all evidence they are in the best position to make a jump forward. They have a ODAC POY candidate. Return more starters and points than any other team by a long shot. No coaching turnover. All signs point to this Roanoke team having more potential than most recent teams.

DBMU. BP will have his horde ready. Would argue the top 5 but don’t think we’ll have to as Noke rolls to the honey bees in Ashland in less than a month. They’ll be ready to take the sweats off and show some experience, something they haven’t had in a few years.

Have to agree. I’ve thought Roanoke had underperformed the last few years relative to past accomplishments. They may have reversed their trajectory with what they bring back, especially Kammerman . I believe his brother will be joining him. Roanoke I think could make a real run for the ODAC this year.

1. Lynchburg
2. Roanoke
3. Washington and Lee
4. Hampden-Sydney
5. Randolph-Macon
6. Shenandoah
7. Bridgewater
8. Virginia Wesleyan
9. Guilford
10. Ferrum
11. Averett
12. Randolph

I think the margin between 1-4 is razor thin. I could see any of the top four teams making a run and winning the ODAC.

Agree with top 4, 5-7 is a tight race too. Despite playin playoff game last year, I think Bridgewater is ahead of Shenandoah and Virginia Wesleyan. Virginia Wesleyan and Guilford will improve. Ferrum needs help, they may not beat Averett or Randolph.

Omitted them on accident, would add them in after Shenandoah. Agreed that I wouldn't be shocked to see anyone from the top 5 beat each other.

Hasn’t been a 3peat in ODAC since it began with NOKE winning 8 straight 1981-88.
When W&L came NOKE repeated 3x’s and W&L repeated twice. LYN repeated twice - 2014-15 and 2021-2022

LYN - 3peats
NOKE - beats W&L in semis
W&L
HSC
Bridgewater
RMC
VA Wes

HSC roster is up with 6 freshman, competing with Averett for fewest freshman. I see Will Perry is back for a fifth year who graduated 2016 from North Cross School. What G program does HSC participate in

6 is very low. Last fall, HSC Instagram introduced 13 new freshman. I find it hard to believe a majority of them dropped

And how can HSC have 5th year players? They don’t have a grad program.

He just stays and keeps taking classes, no grad degree. Just burning mom and dads money so he can keep partying and playing lacrosse. Kids been in college for 6 years with no advanced degree.

A lot of players who were on rosters during the Covid canceled season added minors or slowed down their academic progress in order to use their extra year of eligibility. NCAA require students to carry 12 credits per semester to be eligible, taking 15 to 18 per semester is the normal cadence to graduate in 4 years. So athletes who take 12 or add minors will need 5 years to graduate.

Some gaps in the resume but a reasonable guess is 25 years old. Turning and raking at that age has to get a little old.

Stetson Bennet at Georgia was 25 winning a National Championship. I guess living the dream means different things to different people
