it'd be a mistake. he played 3 years at bowdoin not including d3's 2 covid years. 1st year was 2018. he's a redshirt senior.

Yeah, a typo. Mullane graduated high school in 2017. In a normal world he would no longer be playing college lacrosse. Not a freshman 😂. But a very good player. Fascinated to see what time he gets and how he does for Terps. If he gets some real run, I think he will be a very productive player for them, with graduations, he is one of the best returning O players they have.

Anyone else notice a few players are magically a few inches taller than last year?

He's listed now. Number 57.

Thankful for Trader especially in April and May. Yes, the team seems to have grown taller

His rehab is going really, really well, but they're not going to risk bringing him back this season.

Tills mentioned him at a post-fall ball event. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in a Griffin Brown/Eric Holden kind of role. Run him through the box on the 2nd MF line. Get him on a shorty and let him dodge from where he feels comfortable. Given his smarts, he'll fit well on the offense.

There is the Hardshell Collective. Members are having a dinner with the team in a couple weeks

Just watched the UVA 2023 hype video, almost 4 minutes long with dozens of highlights, but ironically not a single highlight from either of the 2 games against us last year….lol

Terps did one last year at this time that began with the devastation from the '21 loss to UVA followed by the motivation to finish it all in '22. I thought that was really unique to show a negative highlight (to put it mildly) and also incredibly confident to show their National Championship intentions. They knew they had the team.

As far as this UVA hype video goes, good for them. They have the talent to win it again and this year they are the hunter with extra motivation. I always root against UVA in every sport, but I got tremendous respect for Lars after his effusive praise of Tillman and the '22 Terps.

1. The UVA hype video you are referring to was put out by a high school amateur, not the UVA program. He barely put clips in from more than 4 games last year.
2. Are we really scouring highlight videos looking for acknowledgement? No one is more desperate for constant and effusive praise than this Terp fan base

The sophomore from San Diego isn't on the roster, so for the first time in a decade there's nobody from SoCal on the roster . Kind of interesting that A. DeMaio is the only one from SoCal that ever made it here for all 4 years (++ in his case) over that span. I wonder if that's any indication of the actual talent pool down there or maybe the laid back lifestyle doesn't quite match the Be the Best regimen.

Either way, the only thing that matters is that Anthony made it to May 2022.

So no more Capitol Classic tournament? Too bad - Audi field was great! Did UVa. get paid last year?

No Notre Dame game in Cali? That would have been a great game to play out west.

I know there were some discussions about the ND game out SoCal, but it looks like that didn't materialize.

Can't blame UVA for not wanting to do Audi again. If they finally did get paid, they were probably the last team to get paid.

I do think it's great that MD is heading down to Duke to scrimmage later this month. Since MD left the ACC, I believe Duke is the only ACC school that has not played MD during the regular season. Lacrosse seems to be one of the rare college sports where coaches really load up non-con schedules with tough opponents. If this scrimmage is a prelude to MD and Duke playing a regular season game next year, that's great for the sport. Renewing games with UVA has been great. ND and MD seem to play every year now, and those games are always high level. Making a trip up to The Dome last year to see MD take on Cuse - and now the return game this year - was awesome.

In fairness, Virginia staff and the vast majority of their fans have been very gracious in their 2 prior wins over Maryland for title years and gave Maryland all the credit in their 2 lopsided losses last year. We aren’t or shouldn’t be your enemy.

And some of us are not nor never have been the Terps’ enemy. Unfortunately, there are—and to a greater extent were—some real jerks among UVA fans and alumni who snobbishly stoked anti-Maryland animosity. You wouldn’t have to look too hard.

I have tons of respect for the Cavs, particularly Tiffany. I can’t wait for the game in C’ville this year; I think it’ll be maybe the best crowd we see this year in any game

Unfortunately there are some fans who like to post on this board and stir stuff up and make claims about how Maryland fans are dramatic or demanding respect or whatever. I find that kind of stuff, on a section of this board that is predominantly Maryland fans posting, rather silly

But it is what it is. There are obnoxious Maryland fans out there as well I’m sure.
