In other words, it doesn't include all incoming recruits or undrafted and eligible players. But I try to include as many potential draftees as possible. My list has about 165 players on it. I have "evaluated" most of them.

FFG, it sounds like a google sheet that you and Junior can share and each edit would solve some of your problems.

I'm guessing some others have more players on their lists.
This year i changed it up and it helped me for sure.
For each team i list all of the players i'd be willing to take that are available, e.g. brown would have had many more players than virginia this year based on being a new team. Then rank them for that team.
Then delete players as they are drafted, streamlining as we go.
My list probs had between 100-140 this year, if i was still drafting it maybe would have 20ish players left, i can only think of 2 players id be actually interested in though that haven't been taken yet
We take a very different approach focused on roster construction and a draft strategy to achieve that goal. This is a very unique draft year, so a key strategy adjustment was to pick a defense in Round 6, instead of our usual Round 3 approach. We also choose not to draft players playing out their final year of eligibility.

Does everyone have a Team D? It looks like Lax1 has 2.

So does Maddog. NJ still needs one. I think JHU D, PSU, and Villanova still available.

I thought we couldn't draft 2 D's until all fantasy teams have a D. Did that change?

I have a minimalist approach.

I look at my roster and decide how many picks i will make and multiply it by 20 to get my pool. I don’t do much player research.

This year, as i said earlier, i had 3 excellent midfielders and three strong attackmen. I was set except for D. My first pick was going to be the Grad attack man at Duke.

But 1 middie was moved to SSDM after having an excellent summer in Canada. Another was moved to attack when he went to Cuse. Then i only had 1 middie and 2 sophs who have talent but may not be 1s or 2s. Now i had to get middies

I drafted a defense earlier than usual based on tranfers and team improvement only to discover there is a rumor they may not play this year.

The best laid plans….

Last year 3 players pretty much carried the team to a
middle of the pack finish, i expected to improve by seversl slots at least. O well

You can draft 2 whenever you'd like. We just stop people from drafting 2 as soon as having 2 would preclude other coaches from having 1.

Dylan Pallonetti has been on Stony Brook's roster since 2021 the season. He should probably be taken off of ChopSticks' roster.
