Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Sorry....traveling through Europe for the holiday with family. So can I not make one more pick? Would still like to drop one more player and pick a new player. Let me know......

You still want Dante huh. The open add/drop period follows the draft.

Enjoy your holiday!

We're so far behid in life and I can't do all the research on my own and if we lose all the matches it doesn't matter so:

Add Yale D
Drop Navy D

Add Spencer Wirtheim Sr Attack Cornell
Drop Jack Schultz graduated from Penn
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

According to the roster I currently have for him/them, he still has Patrick Drake GRAD A Fairfield. So I assume he isn't done. I e-mailed Chopsticks. I think he only has one pick left...

Maddog can pass Chop at 9:48 AM on Saturday.

127 7.3 Maddog

Thanks I have files going back and forth with som and can’t convert form excel to his web app version so literally handing thumb drives back and forth on this and wasn’t sure if he (Drake) had been dropped yet.

Figure you all have a free year to pick us off and do whatever you want via a vis this team we’re figuring out the whole thing on.

If Chopsticks only has one pick and he's catching up from round 6. Does that put Maddog up?

We don't know 100% that Chop only has one pick. I think we should wait...

Isn’t the point of doing the draft way in advance of rosters being up so that we don’t have to rush through this?

It's true. But it's also a balancing act. i.e. We don't want the Draft to be so slow that we lose all momentum. But, yes, what you're saying is true.

As the new guy trying to reach his kid, and frustrated on all sorts of levels and being a bit of a biyach, it feels rushed and like a form on wanting to create information asymmetry to jump folks when it’s supposed to be 24 hrs per selection and there’s a date to start the draft and getting what seems like hammered by people who have the advantage of doing this previously and presumably not the other (admittedly idiosyncratic) consideration.

But at this point I have to assume we won’t have any success and can’t get any enjoyment from that but only from learning via losing.

I just want Jr to enjoy his experience and want to be more involved not less. That’s my schadenfreude here

I think what you're experiencing is shared by many, if not all, the league. We're starting the 7th Round of a 20 team league. At this point, everybody is scratching their heads. At this point in the draft, it is very common for coaches to say, Just auto-pick for me. If you were saying this about Rounds 1-3 or so, I'd be saying something very different. But now that we're in the much later rounds... Farfrom and Farfrom Jr., you're not alone...
