Challenge? To do like 2 minutes of research per victim? Treating a human as a human being. Treating them how they wanted to be treated and not a talking point is about the least challenging thing to do in a major story like this. And a large part of their humanity.

Funny thing, I don't think pronouns have ever actually come up in real life though. The two or three trans people I've met have been pretty clear that they're a guy or a girl.

Of course I’m in general agreement on this issue and respecting human beings.

But I’ve had issues with language being overly malleable going back to calling certain difficult or skill require and can even be “competitive” such as the X games 25 ish years ago being called sports. No different than guilt being a derivative of the Greek work for debt owed and now carries moral implications with it because we are all lazy and the homogenization of humanity seems to have completely overidden any value in cultural differences. I don’t mean southern “culture” or anachronistic aspects to culture that attempt to create a hierarchy amongst humans but rather a celebration of the interesting or positive aspects to different forms of social organization. I think this makes sense but I may not be articulating it well. It just seems lazy to throw everything out vs critically removing the value based indexing of cultures but preserve the qualities of differences.

Do you respect that rules exist by a founder, we agree to terms of service and that this person intentionally violated the letter and spirit by creating a new account (more than once) briefly pretending to be someone different then dropping that lie (and it was a flat out lie to everyone including platform owner) and disrespecting everyone who’s agreed to these rules voluntarily as well as the owner of the platform? Does it make sense to not have any consequences for this person?

I’d argue the mistake was not shutting this behavior down when they end ran the rules, long before this event, should’ve occurred. This behavior disrespects the rules for the lacrosse side we’ve all agreed to as well. Expecting a one man band to check every IP address when they’ve provided a platform out of their interest in the sport as a unearned side hustle for fun and being magnanimous with us all when he doesn’t need to seems a bit selfish to me. Unless you’ve voluntarily offered to pay for labor support or offered to put in 10-20hrs/week of your own time to manage this. Easy to be self congratulatory after the fact with no skin in the game IMO.

This website is great for lacrosse but awful for civil political debate; the reason for that of course is the softness of the resident FLP (as Cradle affectionately calls them), 8 or so of the biggest bunch of wusses you will ever read on the Internet. Isn't lacrosse supposed to be a game of tough people!?!? You 8 or so are the polar opposite of that, a group of hysterical Karen's running to the Admin because you can't engage in debate. GMAFB and GTFOOH.

Admin: Open this board up to independent thinkers; stop banning the only worthwhile posters here.

One of the best posters ever here was Joe Mauer. He left because the 8 pansi@es complained about him to the Admin, even though he simply called it like it is. You nancies claim victory for chasing a guy like that off, but all you've really done is reveal yourselves as total pussi@s incapable of debate. Grow a pair.

MDLax: you are, without question, the most arrogant entitled dbag on this site or anywhere. Many have said so previously, so it's not like I'm claiming some revolutionary new idea. You're too old to change so really I have no advice for you. You're not the guy you desperately want to be. My only advice would be to delete your account and focus elsewhere. Admin needs to stop caving to the DNC-leaning clowns here. Outside of essexfenwick, I've never seen a conservative post anything remotely close to the personally negative sh*t that the 8 or so post every day and that I posted above (this is my one and only time I'll ever say anything personally negative about anyone here or anywhere, only about their online personas mind you; please note that posters like MDLax and ggait and FFG say the same and worse personal insults here every day with not even an official nudge to change...) Only the conservatives who get suspended, which is fair, but let's be honest when describing the site.
