Boebert down by 64 votes as of this AM with 99% in (including Mesa and Pueblo County). They have provisional and military mail ballots to count plus some ballots that heed to be cured for signature match estimated at 1,000 or so in the next few days. Likely will be a recount if it remains this close

CO is 100% mail-in ballot and has been for years (read ggait's material here as he is a CO resident as is my kid who also says its excellent) - their process is light years ahead of most other jurisdictions as good if not better than FL or MD
FL & MD have a hybrid system. You can vote by mail or in person. You just have to request a ballot. Painless.
As it is in CO but only a very small percentage vote in person - in fact, part of the delay in Pueblo county was counting machine votes for in-person voters who apparently can look a gift horse in the mouth and vote like the other 95+ % of the electorate.

As for Boebert, she is down and possibly not out at this point. If she were to lose it would be addition by subtraction so would not have to listen to all of the garbage she spouts tryjng to get attention by acting like an a-hole (like her idol Orange Cheato).

The election was not supposed to be this close in the first place. Upset in the new 3rd District by Dem Yadira Caraveo so one more blue representative who also wasn't supposed to win.

from Twitter today -
"If there’s any karmic justice, Lauren Boebert will lose by exactly 1776 votes."

Also nice to see Arizona Republican Kari Lake attacking DeSantis, stating that he is part of a conspiracy to slow-roll her election results and that he is trying to paint Trump Republicans as unable to win elections. - MAGA - they're imploding

But still 2,000+ ballot to come in from Pueblo County which is pretty blue. Only 96% in right now

But the Democrats owe Ryan an enormous thanks for making Ohio competitive and forcing the GOP to spend huge amounts of money to keep Portman's seat -- all dollars that may have helped in Nevada and Arizona and Pennsylvania.

The decision to bail on Bolduc in New Hampshire just made sense, if you understood the state.
Vance has a cushy job as Senator-for-life, if he wants it & doesn't screw up.
I don't disagree. He just plays his cards right and he can sit there and say sanctimonious stuff for years. A real contributor in the making.

Well, it's not like that on all State levels. At least not yet. Colorado? There's only a handful of these idiots running around. The conservatives are actual f'ing conservatives...and it's glorious. I like a TON of their policies. Same goes for the liberals. Rational, evenhanded. I like a TON of their policies, too.

And for the most part, they listen to one another, and run the State. Do we have major problems? You bet. But they're at least trying to work on them, which to me, is all you can ask. And we have good judges, appointed by both parties.

We're lucky out here. And corruption is as minimal as you can get, on the State level.

Hopefully this link will come through. It shows the total votes that have been counted in the District and has a county by county breakdown of the percentage remaining and who has done better in each county.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/202 ... ict-3.html

Now, why are we interested in how Lauren the Thompson gunner is doing? Beats me, but I have a link saved on my phone for now.

In the days leading up to the election there was talk that repukeblicons would be enjoying a landslide victory. But things did not quite pan out that way:

FL & MD have a hybrid system. You can vote by mail or in person. You just have to request a ballot. Painless.
Colorado is better. MUCH much better:

1. Automatically registered to vote by default rule at the DMV. Which is why CO is #1 in the country for percent of eligible voters registered.
2. You don't have to ask for a ballot. It automatically shows up.
3. You can vote in person if you want. Or by mail. Or by drop box.
4. Overwhelming majority vote by drop box. Like 90%!!! Hundreds located across the state. Open 24/7 for weeks. You can use any box you want -- the one by your house, or your job, or your transit stop, or your grocery store, or your kid's school, or where you are over the weekend.

Hence, CO is always #2 in voter turnout in the country (behind MN).

The system is awesome. A recount is no big deal. It will happen fast and the results will be beyond solid. No bull shirt allowed. Everything is done in front of D/R/Indy.

Would be great if AR-15 Barbie got taken down by a dude from Aspen. Maybe she and Madison Cawthorn could start up a traveling show for whacked out washed up losers.

Colorado system explained below. Gold standard:

3. And the winner is... alcohol

Illustration: Lindsey Bailey/Axios

There were a lot of close races in Georgia in Tuesday night's election. One candidate that won without much of a fight: booze.
What's happening: More than 82% of Atlanta voters — again, 82% — voted to allow grocery and package stores and other retail spots to sell alcohol earlier and later on Sundays, per Fox 5.
Details: Under the new law, alcohol sales can begin at 11am and end at midnight.
• Prior to the vote, sales started at 12:30pm and ended at 11:30pm.
Why it matters: You no longer have to kill time walking around Kroger waiting to buy beer.
• Think of it as the world giving your time back to you.

Excellent. More deaths of despair, coming right up. Come to think of it, the US is starting to resemble post-Soviet more and more, right down to the alcoholism reducing the life expectancy in certain segments.
