2023 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft

Question:

I have three players listed as A:

Collison
Manning
Simmons

Simmons played A last year as did Manning. Either or both may be switched this year. I have not dealt with this issue much but the transfer portal has impacted the roster possibilities and my draft. If it is not one thing its another.

I think it is highly likely one or all end up playing M.
The uncertainty makes drafting an uncertain proposition.

Given the short season each game is very important. If a roster is adjusted its easy. If not how are adjustments made given each game’s importance? What are the criteria?

FYI Simmons started at attack today for Cuse so better to wait for the season to know

You're right. Player positions is a balancing act. Besides doing your best to figure out player positions accurately (which isn't always easy), be aware that we'll always be more open to calling an M an A than we will be to calling an A an M. For example, if an M is a pure M, he needs to be called an M. But if this M plays A even sometimes, we'll be open to calling him an A/M. The A who consistently plays A but in Game #1 of the season played M for a shift, this A will still be called an A. For an A to be called an M is more difficult than an M being called an A.
