No word yet re whether lacrosse will be added as varsity sport any time soon.

So far UST has not added lax to its Div I schedule. But the Tommies are doing OK in football:

QB Cade Sexauer completed 15-of-22 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns, with receptions by nine different Toms.

Am thrilled to see Cade do so well. Watched him growing up in South St Paul where he excelled on the football field and in the hockey arena. I did not expect him to do this well (I thought he was a Div 3 player at best) but he has exceeded my expectations. This is always GREAT to see. It shows his determination and reflects the great discipline it takes to excel at this level of play.

Considering the size of the school and its endowment, I believe the school can succeed in other sports especially in lacrosse as the sport is growing at the scholastic level here in Lake Wobegone.

Any indication that they'll first move up to MCLA Div 1?

Couldn't find any current news on their website but will defo keep you posted if/when there are updates. They should have no trouble meeting Title IX criteria as they can easily add a varsity dance line team (as well as lax) for girls.
