The passing game IS the answer, IMO. Defenses have solved the TO O-line, in most part to protect themselves from being chop blocked.

Love Coach Ken for Navy. But could this be it for him if Navy has their third-consecutive losing season?

Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Being close to Ga Tech the last decade I can say there’s a massive limit to the upside of running triple option or related run heavy offenses. It’s good enough to keep you competitive but it won’t get you all the way these days. Paul Johnson did a lot more with Chan Gaileys kids than he did five or so years into his tenure.

If that’s enough then by all means stick with the system. I’m framed more by two former players at Army from the early 90s who were buddies over time for my hood named Dan and Joel Davis. Joel sniffed the NFL. Of course that game was critical but they cared about far more than just that game I know. Maybe it’s changed in the last two decades with how college football has evolved and maybe that’s an appropriate adjustment but I got the sense folks still hope for if kit a championship a team or string of teams that could be in the top 5-15.

Due to the run Navy has had from the early-00s to recently, while I don't think fans are expecting championships or high rankings, it is totally natural that their standards have gotten higher and that they should be disappointed with not going to bowl games most seasons.

By the way, are any of you following Navy's recruiting for 2024? This could be one of the finest classes in program history!

Kinda hard, b/c they are not announcing anything. Only seen the pole from McD.

Add 4* 2024 attackman Cody Collier, from Calvert Hall, to Navy's commits for that year. Wow, with the recruiting they are doing, I actually would be disappointed if they don't make at least one Final Four in the next five or so years.

That’s a little extreme. Yeesh. However, I do love the optimism.

Navy getting to the FF is a pipe dream. Not going to happen.

LOL-Remember they made the title game in 2004. And they have multiple other Quarterfinal appearances under their belts.

Yes, they sure are. I still believe this. They have so much to offer in recruiting.
