Just an update here - Mac Bredahl listed on the Boston College golf team, so I’m assuming his college lacrosse days are over - unless he plans on playing with the club team!

Guess that answers what he's doing come the spring. Highly unlikely he goes the Dox route and returns to Tufts.
Best of luck to him and the Eagles this golf season.

Hearing whispers that All NCAC and OWU defensemen Carter Haskell has joined Stevens Tech. Could be a huge pick up for the Ducks.

A key D3 to D3 transfer to look out for this season. Western New England All American HM Conor Tracy will be utilizing his 6th year at cross-town rival Springfield College. A big get for an already loaded Chief Dawg squad.

Re: Transfer Portal
Tracy could be a huge addition to this Springfield Squad. Rumor has it Patrick Watson is returning for a 6th year as well. Tracy and Watson could be one of the more dynamic midfield duos in the country if that is the case, both drew the pole for their respective teams almost every game last year. Who do you pole in this case?the_fish_whist1er wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 2:10 pm A key D3 to D3 transfer to look out for this season. Not even mentioning Nocito who is one of the better down hill dodgers on the team, with a cannon of a shot. This team will be very dangerous this season, especially with the return of Kevin Tierney who was out last year with an ACL.Olddawg83 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 13, 2023 6:22 pmTracy could be a huge addition to this Springfield Squad. Re: Transfer Portal
I checked out Babson's roster today and it looks like they have some big time transfers using 5th years:
Ryan Kenney - Lynchburg (2nd Team ODAC 66 goals last year)
Will Spangenburg - Holy Cross (34 points)
Michael La Forte - Grove City (65 points)

Thought I'd grab the D3 portion from the D1 Transfer Portal page, I know the list only includes transfers across divisions but not a bad list to start a conversation.

Re: Transfer Portal
This is interesting to look back at now. Spangenburg ended up with 87 points this season and Kenney put up 60. Almost 100 goals between them. (The kid from Grove City was hurt I think.) Babson ended the season ranked 20th nationally by IL, 13 wins, won the NEWMAC and won a game in the NCAAs. The prior season they were 8-9. lost in the NEWMAC semis. They did have a pretty good abbreviated season in 2021.LILaxGuy08 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 6:52 pm I checked out Babson's roster today and it looks like they have some big time transfers using 5th years:

It's pretty amazing how adding two kids can make such a huge difference if it's the right two kids.
Re: Transfer Portal
Seamus Fagan from Hamilton going to Rutgers is interesting. Best D-III goalie in the country in 2022, fell off a cliff in 2023 (63.2% saves to 46.2%, GAA +5.29). No idea what was going on this year, hope it works out.

Just saw a post from High Point University that Campbell Pozin from CNU is transferring in as a grad transfer.
Re: Transfer Portal
Grove City kid wasn’t hurt he actually just didn’t get any playing time. He was a second line attack because Chi Chi Price was better than him and ended up as a second team All American.JBFortunato wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 10:19 amThis is interesting to look back at now.
