Is O’Brien from W&L going anywhere? I wonder who will replace her.
I presume the Gettysburg assistant will take over for Carol Cantele? She’s been there a while.
Coaching changes
Re: Coaching changes
She’s going to Amherst. Her alma mater.
Re: Coaching changes
Oh interesting. Interested to see what she does with that program. It seems to lag behind the other NESCACs.
Re: Coaching changes
I'm hearing that a new coach for Washington & Lee has been hired.
Re: Coaching changes
Anyone hear about a change at Roanoke?
Re: Coaching changes
Roanoke like an abrupt change after 17 years as head coach.

"Tamburello came to Roanoke College as an assistant coach prior to the 2018 season and in August of 2021 was named interim head coach of the program. In June of 2022, the interim tag was removed and Tamburello was named Head Women's Lacrosse coach."
Is he gone?

Saw two postings today, one not surprised Lynchburg whose coach was there 20 years. But second Lake Forest their coach was only there a year? Any idea what went on there? Didn’t have a bad season but not great, where did Wei Chenh go?

I'm guessing for Chenh this is a formality, since she was promoted from assistant to Head Coach, maybe Lake Forest thinks they need to have a real search?
No internal insight from me, purely speculation

Kenyon was filled https://athletics.kenyon.edu/news/2023/ ... rosse.aspx
seems a step up for her. I have heard Aquinas is on financial trouble, but a lot of small schools are.
Re: Coaching changes
A schools financial standing is something to consider these days before applying/committing. Smaller religious schools seem to be in particular trouble, thinking of Cabrini recently closing. Now those girls have to find a new team and transfer there credits/major to a new school, not fun.LaxCoach13 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 11:47 amKenyon was filled https://athletics.kenyon.edu/news/2023/ ... rosse.aspx
