Yawn. As predicted easy run to finals where they will beat....whoever by 10.
Question - how does this help them get into olympics when it seems like there is no world competition. Even if they change format?
I hate to say it, but top 5 D1 teams would likely be second in this tourney
I think you go deeper than top 5 finishing 2nd
Where would this year's UNC team finish in this tournament? definitely 2nd..Nalls plays for england and is one their best defenders. Brooklyn Walker-Welch is 18 and already a key starter for Cananda. Ally Mastroianni and Emma Trenchard are on team USA. Can make an argument for Ortega for being on that team. Every other player on that team is better than most of the players in this tournament. It's not even close. BC would be a challenging team and probably 3rd or 4th. After that i think the field evens out. i can see canada, england, and maybe japan beating most D1 schools
I stick by the 2nd. I think the top 5 beats canada. Just my SWAG.

As an old recruiter (who never once missed quota) I thought I did a knock down, drag out job of recruiting the crew for input on last night's Aussie-USA game, sc. Thank you, crew. BZ. Just thought I'd mention that. ;)

You did, and it was appreciated. Won’t be able to watch the final either — so keep up the good work.

Two quick ones by England to end the half.
Hompe, assist - Hompe, goal. 5-3 Eng.
Got the Heisman comparison too.

No shot clock in the women's world tourney.
Both teams a little sloppy w TOs, not awful
but can't have those now. 6-4 (Eng 28 min
with no goals before their 4th) 2 min to go
in the 3rd. Reed w 9 saves.

Wow, Neilson golden opportunity on FPS for the Aussies.
Nope.
Eng scores w 1 sec left but it's waived off, in the crease
...but after it went in. Don't like the call.
