I don’t know him from Adam. It was the first article that referenced initial sanctions against “Russia”.... It’s not just “this Senate”...

Cohen is generally known as Putin's apologist. Read his article and you can easily see why.

Why are we purchasing Titanium (a strategic metal) from Russia / Putin?? Same goes for rocket engine assemblies?? At least a half dozen countries not including China can supply our Titanium needs as well as Russia - they are all friendlier. Australia blows Russia away in terms of reserves (as does China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Madagascar, Canada, etc.). The rocket engines we can do for ourselves. I suspect both of these have their genesis in trying to bring Russia into the Western fold some time after the fall of the empire. I see no reason to continue these relationships so long as Putin is running the show. Cohen uses this as a reason not to piss of Putin.

Skidmark is claiming we are going back to the moon (yea, right, all he has to do is say it and we have Faux Nation claiming it has already happened and the mainstream media refused to cover it so as not to give Orange Duce the glory). I guess we will use Russian rocket engines.

Its been over 880 days since 11/8/16. Thank God you didn't threaten to hold your breath until you got your way. Because of the deal that was cut with Russia we may actually have to buy our own uranium back from them. And it only cost them a mere pittance of $150,000,000 donation to The Clinton Foundation.

Putin is the worst kind of thug, but he is in this world and he is a force to be reckoned with. Just not with silly buttons (did she steal that from Office Depot?) or offhand comments about flexibility. How much do you think our energy renaissance has affected his economy? How about pushing back on his pipeline to Germany? Arming Ukraine? Standing side by side with our eastern European allies. Leaving the Iran deal?

You should stop digging around in a pile of horse manure expecting to find a pony.

You are half right. There will be no backlash since we're not going to see anyone in handcuffs.

Crazy thing about Trump -- no matter what he does, he never gets less popular. And never gets more popular either.

My pet theory about Barr, fwiw. I think he and Mueller and Rosenstein agreed to give Trump his apparent victory with the 4-pager so that DOJ would have cover/breathing room so they could prepare the report for release. Can you imagine the shirt storm that would be howling now if Barr had said (i) nothing at all or (ii) had said something bad about Trump without the back up of the full report?

I still think these guys are mostly just trying to land the plane (getting the report out) and then letting Congress and voters handle it. Looks kind of like what Comey was trying to do. Keep DOJ/FBI out of the middle of the political hurricane.

We'll see.
Could be, I have considered that. Just seems unlikely given Barr's history pre-Trump. The guy has a history of behaving more like a party operative than a real lawyer. He would have to be engaged in Presidential Rope-A-Dope and I don't see him as capable of it. Mueller yes, Rosenstein is a nervous Nellie and would of course follow Mueller's lead and likely Barr's as well, whoever held the power. The timing and behavior tell me Barr is a rat. Could be wrong, I'll admit it if I am, but I am not currently feeling like there will be any crow to eat.

The Uranium tin foil hat?

I was told that Chelsea personally sold that Uranium to Putin, and no other US official had to sign off on the sale.

Is that true?

No. Because Hill wouldn't have fired Comey, and the FBI would have found nothing, and moved on to more important subjects.

Any other questions?

What, no mention of the Uranium deal? They must not watch enough Hannity.

45% of likely American voters can't find Russia on a map. Pointless survey.

But hey, if you think it's a great idea for the DoJ and FBI---filled with the nefarious Deep Staters--- to investigate the election again, hey, who am I to stop you?

Interesting, because I could have sworn you were upset about Russian interference. In US elections.
It only matters if tRump won. Only IMPORTANT b/c he got sworn in.

Here is how remarkably unmove-able Trump's approval ratings are. According to the 538 average:

On 4/5/2017 he was 40.7% approve, 53.2% disapprove. On 4/5/2019, he was 42.3% approve, 52.5% disapprove.

During that two year stretch, his low approval was 37.1% and his high approval was 43.1%.

Everybody has an opinion on Trump. And nobody is going to change that opinion.

No other president has been anything close to this.

Who was President when Putin ruined American democracy? Was there aver an investigation?

You do know Tony Podesta—partner and brother of Hillarys campaign chief—NEVER filed as an agent for a foreign government. One of the "crimes" Manafort was indicted for. No charges!

You know Diane Feinsteins driver for twenty years was a Chinese agent. The FBI warned her about him rather than create a special prosecutor to investigate Chinese collusion or have Armed FBI agents raid her lawyers home at dawn and confiscate all his files. Nothing ever was investigated!

Look up Debbie Wasserman Schultz The DNC and her Pakistani IT guy. Again NO prosecutions!

Who wants to go back over any of that old hypocrisy.

I would pardon Flynn and Papadopolous if I were Trump. As for Manafort, he never would have gotten dragged into court if it weren't for Trump. I would commute his sentence but leave a guilty verdict or two.

It's actually pretty humorous to hear FoxNation rants played out here.
Folks are getting really, really nervous again.

The victory lap they took may have been a little too early.

Brennan says he was misinformed.
Comey's relieved & happy there was no collusion.

Who's going to investigate? Have you forgotten that FoxNation thinks the Deep State (cue ominous music) is everywhere? Hannity and Rush hammered the DoJ and FBI for two straight years....so tell me: what now? You don't trust them, remember?

Whoops. Forgot about that detail. Or, wait, wait---don't tell me: you trust the FBI and DoJ if they're investigating anyone with a little D by their name, right?
6ftstick wrote: Fri Apr 05, 2019 10:06 pm You do know Tony Podesta—partner and brother of Hillarys campaign chief—NEVER filed as an agent for a foreign government. One of the "crimes" Manafort was indicted for. No charges!
Right. Let me help you here. Investigations are handled by the Executive Branch of our Government. Guess who's been in charge of that particular branch of our government for over two years now? Yep. Donald Trump.

So now you're stuck here. If you're mad that there's no investigation----horrors-----you have to blame Trump for not investigating. But don't worry. I'm sure you'll find a way to blame Nancy Pelosi instead. So you can relax.

See above. Would you like me to get you the address of the White House so you can lodge a formal complaint?

Why'd you vote for Trump if you're not going to hold him accountable for doing his job?

I know, I know.....you're afraid of them revoking your Republican decoder ring. But at some point, are you planning on actually holding these guys accountable for doing their jobs?
