That's where she saw lacrosse and brought a stick back to Sweden, big influencer in
its growth there.
You remember her name?
USALacrosse magazine has an article about her. Daughter on the team as well.

It might have been Johnson. I can't find their roster anywhere, I'd recognize her if I could see a picture.
Was here/played here in '87, she's not a kid. Very muscular gal. Get this, she's a blond.

Teckla Jackson. Her daughter is Kjalla (Shalla). That's who I thought you were talking about but I wasn't 100%.

I believe she is 51!! That's insane. I thought Danielle Gallagher played for Team USA forever (Played until she was 45), but this is some accomplishment!

Nice, pretty complete thumping of the Australians last night by England, 12-4. In a game without a shot clock, having Whittle and Nalls on the circle is a nice advantage. Maybe I'm imagining it, but the level of play from the other teams -- other than the US, Canada and Australia -- seems higher and better this go-round.

Undeniably. Czech, China, Italy, Mexico... and the list goes on. But as mentioned earlier. I think this may have a lot to do with more internationals playing NCAA lacrosse and more NCAA lacrosse players playing internationally.

Agreed; I watched about half of that game against the Haudenosaunee yesterday. Japan looked good.

Holy gruebenschnitzles, didn't know Jenny Markey is playing for Germany.
Germany-Latvia at 2. OSU's Lasda for Latvia and SU's Markey for Germany on the field.

Watched a little of the Japan-Haudenosaunee replay and yes, Japan not so surprisingly looks
pretty good. Disappointingly the Haudenosaunee not so much.

Japan as a country tends to get very good at things very fast when they start focusing on it..Their soccer teams, Men, women, and youth levels are all very very good right now. Their basketball programs have made huge strides as well. They medaled at the last olympics. Lacrosse seems like a natural progression of a sport they would become very good at

Well, there ya go. Usain Markey bolts to the cage and tosses an assist to make it 1-0 Germany then Lasda puts away a FPS for Latvia to tie it.

Anyone else having trouble pulling in the signal for these games?
No problem earlier today, now just the spinning circle again.
We're ready for the game.
Right collar on...check.
Steak strips...check.
Picture...watching the circle go round and round.
