That is inciting the mob. It is not encouraging members of Congress on how to vote.

Does not intent have to be proven ? That Trump intended to incite the mob to attack the Capitol.

Yup. If you come for the king, best not miss.

Which means 12-0, beyond a reasonable doubt. Even with videotape of the 5th Avenue shooting, hard to get that.

Yes, a cult. But Trump isn't handing out laced Kool-Aid so the cult will live on.

Trumpnista aren't buying any of this. I happened to look at last night's FoxNews home page. The Hutchinson testimony was story #6. Right now the story is #20 and here's the headline: "Bombshell claims in Jan. 6 testimony disputed by ex_Trump officials, sources say."

They live in an alternative universe.
You don’t think that Democrats who hyperventilate about every ultimately-disproven Trump allegation don’t also live in an alternative universe?
MSNBC & their WP guests are now sliming the 2 secret service members Hutchinson cited who reportedly disagree & want to testify.

Because they live in the real world and not in an alternative universe…

I think the single worst influence on American culture and harmony has been the leftist media. MSNBC is now siphoning away the formerly CNN die hards as John Malone gets CNN back to fact based reporting and away from partisan DNC propaganda. It’ll take him a year.

In the meantime, you can expect MSNBC to go full Tokyo Rose.

The consumers of DNC media aren’t much different than QAnon. Same level of idiocy, obedience, and brainwashing.

A reminder that Donald Trump is free to testify under oath before the January 6th committee to tell his side of the story and to refute any testimony he believes was inaccurate.

Mike Pence, Mark Meadows and all the rest are too.

Question is: why they’re not doing so.

IMHO, the above fits. It's also impossible to prove....but that's, IMHO, obviously the practical intent......"insurrection against the authority of the United States". I.E. trying to get Pence to play games with a lawful election. The validation of the US election being the "agains the authority of the United States".

But as you know, I'm not a lawyer. So....ignore me. ;)

Can you imagine a NewsChannel sliming our Federal employees when they say and do things that a political party doesn't like?

Boy, I can't. That would be terrible. ;)

Latest Trump prosecution polling. Nearly 2/3 of Americans want Trump prosecuted. Less than 20% say he committed no crime. The rest believe he committed a crime but he should not be prosecuted.

Jeebus. Talk about losing the plot.

If a federal employee does something wrong (Lois Lerner for instance), you’re free to go after him/her; that’s fair. Fox or any channel. She deserved the vitriol.

If a federal employee does absolutely nothing wrong (secret service agents merely driving a potus to an event), and even if you have a partisan narrative to sell (todays liberal shibboleth, Hutchinson, who repeatedly fibbed), you should not go after them; that’s wrong.

Tell us where you think the secret service agents should be publicly excoriated by Democrats.

How can you not see the distinction?

Your hero Vindman has proven daily on Twitter that he was always nothing more than a partisan masquerading as an intelligence analyst.

His Twitter feed is actually a DNC fundraising effort.

I’m sure this doesn’t bother you in the least, but to any neutral observer, it merely underpins the original suspicions about him.

Right. So which specific Federal Employee is "The Deep State" that FoxNews complained about for four years, Pete?

Because as you know, a NewsChannel would NEVER go after every single Department in the Federal Government, and tell the viewers that they are all corrupt, right Pete?

Do you realize that Fox isn’t this monolithic one-size-fits-all news channel? A lot of Republicans for instance don’t like Bret Baer; me personally I think it’s idiotic but whatevs. Other Fox viewers don’t think Gillian Turner is a conservative. Fox’s Bill Melugin is doing serious work at the border. Neil Cavuto. Martha MacCallum. Bill Hemmer. John Robert’s.

These are serious journalists.

You’re confusing the Hannitys of the world for the entire operation. Easy to do tbh, but it’s lazy.
