Kinsley ended up leading QU with 133 pts last season (71g/62a). She barely played at SB and killed it at QU - they lost in D2 semis.

Re: Transfer Portal
She didn't play this year. Took a year off. Her sister is still at Hopkins but Trinity going to Denver this fall was the plan all along.
Re: Transfer Portal
That's interesting - so graduated, take a gap year, and then play covid year as a graduate student. sounds like a pretty good plan if you can keep schools interested in you during your year off.

Re: Transfer Portal
That you were correct that Kinsley transferring really helped with Blood and Perrett both graduating?

Both her and Considine had good years with their new teams.
Re: Transfer Portal
help me out...is she still within her 5+1 years to play 4+1?8meterPA wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 3:33 pmThat's interesting - so graduated, take a gap year, and then play covid year as a graduate student. sounds like a pretty good plan if you can keep schools interested in you during your year off.

I don’t blame you. She might’ve been a key missing piece for the Orange. You have to think that Treanor and Lamparter‘s Mount Sinai high school teammates on Syr made a big push for her. Also was wondering whether she would return home and go to Stony Brook.
She was one of the very few (10 or so?) 2021s who committed in 2017 as eighth graders before the recruiting rules changed. She committed in February of eighth grade, two months before the rules changed. Don’t know if she played any varsity in seventh grade. Pretty sure she played some in eighth grade. I first saw her as a high school sophomore and was very impressed with her. One of the best high school goalies I’ve ever seen. Was surprised with the way things turned out at Maryland, but then Sterling really upped her game this year.
Lamparter is not a player who should be sitting on the bench so I think this will be a good move for her.
The Maryland website lists her as being from South Carolina. Given that she attended high school on Long Island, perhaps her family has recently moved, and she decided to be closer to them.

Good for clemson with the Lamparter pickup. They are quietly assembling a nice team. still torn on how they'll do. Being in the ACC and being thrown into the fire is good and bad. I see them on a level of a team like louisville. Will beat mid teams but struggle against the top.

Maybe the Mt. Sinai connection was a “con” and not a “pro” with how Hannah VM’s experience put out a cautionary warning to fellow MS player.njbill wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 1:56 pm I don’t blame you. Re: Transfer Portal
Lake Wylie, SC is basically a suburb of Charlotte, NC. So, probably about a 2.5 hr drive down to Clemson and not far from Carolina schools in ACC and quick access to a major airport (Charlotte).njbill wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 1:56 pm I don’t blame you. She did. I’m sure it was a very long and deflating five years from her. I hope Pittsburgh treats her wellhmmm wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 10:58 pmI believe Hannah transferred to PittCagekeeper wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 6:24 pm+1Laxfan500 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 11:28 amMaybe the Mt.
