Good luck impeaching Trump on obstructing a bogus investigation. Bring it on.

He'll just say he was defending himself from a Deep State coup, ....then release the documents to prove it.

That's been the tactic since the first post election leak. Your tax dollars at work.

I never once said a thing about impeaching this entire time.

I'm making fun of your non stop excuses for this band of idiots. I don't know why you're doing it.

Process crime trap? What new nonsense is that?

Felonies. All the the crimes in question so far are called felonies. Stop with the equivocations.

 Trump literally did it to himself, and you know it.

Who appointed Mueller?

Who appointed Rosenstein?

Go ahead. Find some BS Deep State spin on this. Trump appointed Rosenstein himself.

Who hired Sessions?

Why did Sessions have to recuse himself? Something about Russia, right?

Who appointed Rosenstein?

Who told Comey to go easy on Flynn?

Who fired Comey?

Who said it was over the Rush-er thing?

Who asked the WH counsel to fire Mueller?

Who forked with Mueller and Sessions and Rosenstein about this investigation on a daily basis for two years?

Who made up the story about Russian adoptions?

And on and on.

TBD what Mueller's report will reveal. But Trump totally did this to himself.

And if he wasn't doing all that stuff to cover up something nefarious, then he's even stupider than I think he is (which is very stupid).

He didn't have to recuse himself. And he shouldn't have.

Who appointed Rosenstein?

Who told Comey to go easy on Flynn?

NO one. Comey was asked if it was possible to go easy on a war hero with 30 + years of military service and with a stellar record.

Who fired Comey?

ON Rosensteins recommendation. he deserved to be fired for leaks.

Who said it was over the Rush-er thing?

Who asked the WH counsel to fire Mueller?

Did Mueller finish the investigation uninterrupted. Yeh he did.

Who forked with Mueller and Sessions and Rosenstein about this investigation on a daily basis for two years?

No one.
So now with your new definition obstruction is defending your position. Saying you're innocent. And that investigation has no business existing. Thats obstruction now.

This is one of those defenses that might have been better left unsaid. The points ggait makes to which there is a response are badly done (the response, for example, to the "Who told Comey to go easy on Flynn" is a classic), and the points to which there are no response are telling. Ggait's conclusion is perfect, and none of these supporters mind having a venal, incurious, stupid President of the United States.

Ancient Sodium and his various disciples around here are flailing with increasing ferocity the closer we get to Orange Skidmark's Day of Reckoning.

Their hypocrisy and bald faced partisanship have been on display for months now...803 days to be exact.

I agree, why impeach? He's the Gift That Keeps On Giving to the liberal cause.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THAT WORD, “SUMMARY”

"We now learn, only after Barr pretended he hadn’t claimed to write a summary, that Mueller’s team wrote not just one but multiple summaries (possibly customized to each of several audiences for the report).

And now Barr is offering dubious excuses about why the summaries that tax payers have already paid for couldn’t be released.

My guess is Barr’s claim, which he backtracked off of, to have summarized even “the principal conclusions” of the Mueller report — much less the “results of his investigation” — is going to really come back to embarrass him, if he’s still capable of embarrassment."

Same question can be asked of Ancient Sodium and his FL cadre of TrumpOphants: "...are they capable of embarrassment."?? We may soon see...

Hey Salty! Gedda Loadda DIS!

"THE IRONY OF GLENN GREENWALD CUDDLING UP WITH BILL BARR, THE GRANDFATHER OF ED SNOWDEN’S PHONE DRAGNET"

"Glenn Greenwald, who has written two books about the abuse of Presidential power, continues to dig in on his factually ignorant claims about the Mueller report. For days, he and the denialists said that if Mueller’s report was being misrepresented by Bill Barr, Mueller would speak up. Now that Mueller’s team has done so, Glenn complains that these are anonymous leaks and nevertheless only address obstruction, not a conspiracy with Russia on the election.

Glenn and his lackeys in the denialist crowd who continue to willfully misrepresent the public evidence have yet to deal with the fact that Mueller has already presented evidence that Paul Manafort conspired with Russian Konstantin Kilimnik on the election, but that they weren’t able to substantiate and charge it because Manafort lied. Mueller’s team say they believe Manafort did so in hopes and expectation that if he helped Trump and denialists like Glenn sustain a “no collusion” line, he might get a pardon. That is, we know that Trump’s offers of pardons — his obstruction — specifically prevented Mueller from pursuing a fairly smoking gun incident where Trump’s campaign manager coordinated with Russians on the hack-and-leak.

As Glenn once professed to know with respect to Scooter Libby’s obstruction, if someone successfully obstructs an investigation, that may mean the ultimate culprit in that investigation escapes criminal charge."

You keep making the same mistake, 6ft, assuming that the people who are disgusted by Trump are 'liberal progressives' (who you earlier accused of hating America and Americans).

Nope, there are a whole bunch of lifelong R's, conservatives, who are disgusted, who agree exactly with ggait's summary. A whole lot of independents as well, who certainly wouldn't call themselves 'liberal progressives" much less don't "hate America".

I'd add tog ggait's litany,

Who covered up that he was trying to do a deal in Moscow, deep into his campaign, and was lying to the voters about it?

Who hired a sleaze ball like Manafort as his Campaign Chairman for no compensation? A guy known to have worked for some of the most reprehensible folks around the world? A guy who shared internal polling data with Russian allied Ukrainian oligarch? Again, who hired that guy?

For that matter, who hired and oversaw a sleaze ball like Cohen as his personal attorney and legal/PR bit bull/fixer?

Or hey, whose son expressed enthusiasm about receiving dirt about HRC from someone he was told was connected to the Russian gov't? Whose son invited that sleaze ball Campaign Chair and his brother-in-law into that meeting?

Whose Campaign Chair, Deputy Campaign Chair, son, son-in-law, top security advisor, top Senatorial advisor (future AG)...and more...all failed to report contacts with Russians, even when asked point blank, much less out of a modicum of concern about being compromised by the Russians?

Or, whose son-in-law failed to report working on a back-channel of communications through the Russian Embassy???

argghhh, could go on and on.

Nah, Trump had nothing to do with bringing this problem on himself.

Now you've turned on GG dis ? Wouldn't wanna be in a fox hole with you.
Unnamed disgruntled (D) donor prosecutors, leaking to the NYT/WP, do not speak for Mueller.
PottyMouth's conspiracy theory is based on 1992 stuff ? Talk about grasping at straws.

What you call excuses for Trump are simply calling [BS] on your contrived TDS porn.
Trump won. We're stuck with him. Get over it & beat him at the ballot box with ideas.
Meanwhile, I look forward to the reckoning for Deep State apparatchiks who abused the powers of their positions against their fellow citizens.

Ooooh. So many questions.

Who's going to investigate this? Can't be the FBI or DoJ...you don't trust them, remember? Filled with Deep Staters.

And how long do they get? Like 30 days or so, before you complain that it's taking too long?

And when they're done.....do we get a summary of a summary of their findings, with the DoJ burying the real report?

And then after they're done---we have to start another investigation, obviously. We need to investigate the investigators, right? You know---to see if the investigators vote and stuff. What if the investigators like Hillary? Or Trump? Then what? Does that invalidate the investigation, and we have to start a new one?

Break out the popcorn. This could take a while.
