JD Vance just has different priorities than you do.
Hard to know what JD values. Other than blowing Trump so he can get elected.

Recall that JD called Trump an “idiot”, “reprehensible” and “noxious”. Compared him to Nixon and Hitler.

Seems like he is 100% phony. Phony hating Trump. Phony loving Trump. His book was probably phony too. If he wins, it will be a close race to see if he is even more fake, obnoxious and worthless than Ted Cruz or Josh Hawley.
Is he from Hamilton or Middletown?

Washington Commanders defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio has been fined $100,000 by the team for his comments about protests in the wake of the police killing of George Floyd and the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

Coach Ron Rivera announced the fine in a statement Friday after meeting with Del Rio earlier in the day. He said Del Rio's statements were hurtful to members of the local community and did not reflect the views of the organization.

Asked Wednesday about a social media post he made earlier in the week, Del Rio downplayed the deadly insurrection and questioned why the protests in the summer of 2020 after Floyd's death were not receiving the same scrutiny. Del Rio called the Jan. 6, 2021, riot “a dust-up at the Capitol,” which he later apologized for.

“He understands the distinction between the events of that dark day and peaceful protests, which are a hallmark of our democracy,” Rivera said in the statement, adding that Del Rio had a constitutional right to voice his opinion. “Words have consequences and his words hurt a lot of people in our community. I want to make it clear that our organization will not tolerate any equivalency between those who demanded justice in the wake of George Floyd's murder and the actions of those on Jan. 6 who sought to topple our government.”

Rivera said he feels strongly after their conversation that Del Rio “will have a greater understanding for the impact of his language and the values that our team stands for.” He said the money will be donated to the United States Capitol Police Memorial Fund.

Had he called for Congressional scrutiny of police criminal actions I might possibly have agreed with him.
Just another ‘ball coach. He needs to stick to belly, dive and power. Just stupid.

Yep - and unfortunately very few people who hate the guy are willing to move on. Move on dude - seriously move on - we have bigger challenges in this country then a jack-wad - move on and go do something productive in society - he is NOT worth it.
Holding a very powerful man accountable for an attempted coup is not something anyone should move on from until he is held accountable.

Important to note that younger people rarely watch TV 'live', however they often watch the same content through other channels on their own timetable. Simple as youtube.

This one, single youtube had 14k 'likes' and millions of views

6.5 times more people watched the Jan 6 hearings than watched Faux News lies. By that metric I would call it a success.

And that was just the "live" viewership.

Faux News seems to be carrying the hearings today -- live. Faux News is trying to throw as much dirt as they think they can on the democrats during commentary, but seem to be playing it straight, when it comes to the testimony coming from the committee. Guess Thursday night didn't workout so well.

The FNC commentary is interesting.

Jon Turley says that the testimony is mostly a yawn. Since it just confirms the conclusion that "most people" reached two years ago -- i.e. Trump lost fair/square. Problem is that "most people" doesn't include a majority of the GOP.

Andrew McCarthy says Dems made a big mistake by not putting Jim Jordan on the Committee. Since the American people would believe it a lot more if JJ had been given the opportunity to cross-examine Barr and the other witnesses. OK...

Kinda describes 2xIMPOTUS term in office

Barr: “I really thought, he’s become detached from reality. There was never any interest in what the actual facts were.”

But everyone already knows that. So can we please just move on?

Just like how we move on when someone attempts a bank robbery but fails to get into the vault. No harm, no foul.

Team Putin in a Panic Over Jan. 6 Hearings ‘Lynching Trump’
The House select committee’s primetime Jan. 6. hearings are causing conniptions in Moscow.

The attempted insurrection was embraced by the Kremlin as cause célèbre, with Russian President Vladimir Putin himself calling for an investigation into the death of Ashli Babbitt, who was part of the crowd attacking the U.S. Capitol. Russia’s state-controlled media obsessively covered the notorious attack, praising the would-be insurrectionists as law-abiding protesters and criticizing the United States for prosecuting them. But now, propagandists seem to be concerned that the hearings may negatively impact the chances of re-election for their so-called “partner,” former U.S. President Donald J. Trump.

Kremlin-controlled state media has been relishing the faltering popularity ratings of President Biden, describing Trump as a shoo-in for re-election and openly hoping that a Republican takeover in the midterms would spell a change in America’s foreign policy towards Ukraine. The Jan. 6 committee hearings seem to be a fly in the ointment and now Putin’s propagandists are no longer certain of what the future elections might hold.

... Trump was done prior to the Jan 6 hearings. Only losers thought he would get the nomination again. His main impact will be trying to settle scores with republiCONs he thinks are disloyal to him. The gift that keeps on giving, an insecure childish bully cry baby.

A pretty obvious comment from Britt Hume. Dems should consider impeaching Trump again for the Jan 6 crimes, after the hearings are done, rubbing republiCON nose in his sh*t again. It won't succeed but will once again show the republiCONs to be the unworthy cowards they are. This will put wind in Trump's sails in time for him to cause trouble in the republiCON party in time for the mid-terms. Would be an interesting experiment.
