TLD - You have have been trying - I know no one else that has - keep trying TLD - what are you doing now? Go work in a homeless shelter - I do it once a month - it is a very humbling experience - but I am sure you and the lax bros just like to hang.
How about we start with Pelosi, AOC, Foxx, Newsom, Hochul, Shifty, Nadler, Cuomo - I can keep going. You pick one side yet provide nothing on the other. Keep going Seacoaster - come live in NY as an independent - my vote does not count - I bet you think Hillary is a solid?
January 6, 2021: Insurrection or “normal tourist” visitation?
Re: January 6, 2021: Insurrection or “normal tourist” visitation?
Sea - what you just wrote sounds very Hitler to me - you do NOT care what people at rest stops and campgrounds want? I do care what people want. You live in a bubble - you keep going with that - you and Adam Schiff - ride the wave - good luck to you. Biden won not because he was the best person it was because people tired of Trump. Biden has lower approval ratings now then Trump - you know those campground and gas station people - arrogance is a bad thing - but keep being arrogant - it must suck to live in a fantasy world.

You tell us you're traveling through rural America.....rural CO, in particular. Are you telling me you're not running into people who still think the last election was fixed? Do you not see how dangerous that idea is? What happens when the majority of Americans think our elections are invalid?
No one thinks that the coup would have worked, LandM. The actual, real problem is how many Americans think that our elections are compromised. Or think that the vaccine and/or Covid is fake. Jan6 is simply a symptom of a far larger problem.
You seem to think that they can shove that cat back into the bag. I think you're being VERY optimistic on this count. I think we're far more likely to go further off the rails.
Yes. And the 1%ers that own all these media companies make a living off of it. Clickbait. And naturally, it's a coincidence that the 1%ers get richer each year, as the media gets ordinary Americans to blame liberals/conservatives for every single problem (imagined or real) in their lives.

They are all politicians. I don’t cheer for any of them. You on a team? I have a fundraiser tonight for an inner city youth organization. I don’t think about Hillary Clinton. Why do you? I live in CT as an independent but will admit the last voting cycle ILandM wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 2:17 pm TLD - You have have been trying - I know no one else that has - keep trying TLD - what are you doing now? made it a point not to vote for a single Republican other than two local candidates that I know. Usually my ballot is pretty balanced. Anyway, nice to see you post again. Last night’s TV show may have rustled you up. I was watching The Ballad of Cable Hogue.
EDIT: I haven’t worked at a homeless shelter but I have routinely donated personal care products and other stuff to a homeless shelter for veterans, champ.

TLD - I did not watch the show last night. It is not worth the energy to me - did watch some pretty good hockey though. Rangers can be frustrating. Good on you - if you need contributors PM me - I am all into that - but you need to do one for my charity. It is all good.
aFan, If you know Telluride, we park the motorhome in Cortez for 3 months. Two years ago I saw the beef and cattlemen parade - I grew up in NV - had their pow-wow parade on main street do I think they would overthrow the country - nope. Our motorhome slot folks in PA for PSU football they still have Trump signs in their yard. They are the nicest people in the world - farmers. They would give you the shirt off their back. They are barreled up - do I think they would try and over through the country - nope. Nor do I think the people in Cortez would. There is a TON of anger out is all I know and living in fear or a fantasy land that you have to be right - good luck with that.

You missed answering my question: every farmer I work on the Western Slope and down in the San Luis valley not only thinks that our elections are fake/compromised.....they also think Covid and the vaccine is fake.
Is that what you're finding, or not?
So to my point: i adore these people. And I lost some of them to the clickbait/disinformation they're being spoon fed because they refused to get vaccinated......and died from Covid. This isn't a game for me, or "living in fear", as you put it. My friends are dying over this stuff.

The Proud Boys are a domestic terrorist organization.
As are the Boogalo Bois, QAnon, and Oath Keepers. Interestingly, far more of them were arrested in summer 2020 than BLM and Antifa. That's because the latter two protested peacefully unlike the violent and unpatriotic ultra right wing radicals.

Jack Del Rio fined $100K for comments about Capitol riot
Washington Commanders defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio has been fined $100,000 by the team for his comments about protests in the wake of the police killing of George Floyd and the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol

Washington Commanders defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio has been fined $100,000 by the team for his comments about protests in the wake of the police killing of George Floyd and the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
Coach Ron Rivera announced the fine in a statement Friday after meeting with Del Rio earlier in the day. He said Del Rio's statements were hurtful to members of the local community and did not reflect the views of the organization.
Asked Wednesday about a social media post he made earlier in the week, Del Rio downplayed the deadly insurrection and questioned why the protests in the summer of 2020 after Floyd's death were not receiving the same scrutiny. Del Rio called the Jan. 6, 2021, riot “a dust-up at the Capitol,” which he later apologized for.
“He understands the distinction between the events of that dark day and peaceful protests, which are a hallmark of our democracy,” Rivera said in the statement, adding that Del Rio had a constitutional right to voice his opinion. “Words have consequences and his words hurt a lot of people in our community. I want to make it clear that our organization will not tolerate any equivalency between those who demanded justice in the wake of George Floyd's murder and the actions of those on Jan. 6 who sought to topple our government.”
Rivera said he feels strongly after their conversation that Del Rio “will have a greater understanding for the impact of his language and the values that our team stands for.” He said the money will be donated to the United States Capitol Police Memorial Fund.

Had he called for Congressional scrutiny of police criminal actions I might possibly have agreed with him.

Too late Bart, you have become the FLP poster child for stupid is as stupid does... You should broaden your horizons and start concentrating on the next republican candidate for POTUS that you can spew your evil and hateful FLP vitriol on. Your wasting valuable time and energy beating the dead trump horse. It takes ME to point this simple fact out to you??dislaxxic wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 8:55 amNah...use Gump's quote to replace your quote starting with "Don't tick off us stupid old people..."cradleandshoot wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 8:06 amWhat was it that Forest Gumps mom told him.. I'm and old guy who is normally in bed by 9pm. I think I inadvertently listened to a few minutes of Liz Cheney jibber jabbering about what a scumbag trump is. I could tell where this FLP chit show was heading by then. My wife nodded off on our couch watching Fear Factor. Roxy and I went to bed by 9:15. Did I miss anything more important than a good nights sleep??? I doubt it, the collective dumbfudgery of FLP analysis of the chit show tells me going to bed was the wise option. A few of you folks got your rocks off and found some albeit temporary stress relief... good for you all...Essexfenwick wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 4:54 pm Lololololzzz

The problem -- too many people no longer believe what our government & mainstream media tell us. There are valid reasons for that.a fan wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 2:35 pmYou tell us you're traveling through rural America.....rural CO, in particular. That's not because of Trump. He's a symptom. He exploited it.
The government was not realistically in jeopardy of falling on Jan 6. That is just more partisan fear mongering.

JD Vance just has different priorities than you do.
Re: January 6, 2021: Insurrection or “normal tourist” visitation?
Hard to know what JD values. Other than blowing Trump so he can get elected.JD Vance just has different priorities than you do.
Recall that JD called Trump an “idiot”, “reprehensible” and “noxious”. Compared him to Nixon and Hitler.
Seems like he is 100% phony. Phony hating Trump. Phony loving Trump. His book was probably phony too. If he wins, it will be a close race to see if he is even more fake, obnoxious and worthless than Ted Cruz or Josh Hawley.
Boycott stupid. If you ignore the gator troll, eventually he'll just go back under his bridge.
