So, what the heck is going on in Trump's fevered mind that leads him to falsely claim that his father was born in Germany (while criticizing Germany but expressing fondness for the country...as a German).RedFromMI wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 9:31 pmTurns out he actually (and his father) used to lie that Fred Trump was Swedish and was born in NJ. Did it so his (Fred's) Jewish renters would not think so badly of him than if they thought he was German. That even made it into "The Art of the Deal."holmes435 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:41 pm Trump today: "my father is German, was German. Born in a very wonderful place in Germany."

He has a pattern of projecting false critique on others when he feels critiqued or likely to be critiqued for the same thing accurately. That's a weird trick of mind.
So, too, is the creation of false narratives that somehow align with his aspirations. I'm a hugely successful billionaire, self-made really, who only got a little help from dear old dad....who was born in Germany?
Not the current Germany, but the old Germany.
Make Germany Great Again?
or make America like the old Germany? what's the aspiration he's twisting up?
His father was born in 1905
Is his fondness for Germany under the Kaiser...or Der Fuhrer?
Authoritarianism.
Weird at a minimum.
Of much greater concern is his attack on the election process as "rigged" and that if he loses it will be because he was cheated.
Putin couldn't ask for more.

A Never Trumper takes a stand
She is expected to be picked to become the next State Department spokesperson....guess she had a change of heart.Former Fox News contributor Morgan Ortagus, repeatedly criticized President Donald Trump during the 2016 Republican presidential primary, Ortagus publicly lambasted then-candidate Trump over what she called his "isolationist foreign policy approach," and blasted behavior she qualified as "disgusting" and "not serious."
Re: Orange Duce
Ms.Ortagus earned a Masters Degree at JHU.I didn't think Hopkins offered an advance degree in meteorology.If/when appointed, this woman will have made a dramatic ,smooth and startling transition from critic to apologist. Calling Trump "disgusting" then becoming his spokesperson for the State Department takes either legerdemain or expedient acquiescence? Perhaps it simply a case of "ya don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows."foreverlax wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 9:30 am A Never Trumper takes a stand

One man's "weird trick of mind" is another man's psychosis. Not so hard or extreme to say about this DOPUS.

Hey Trumpies! Waiting for the blood-curdling screams about WEAK ON SECURITY, a REAL THREAT about this sort of thing
Imagine the howls from the right had this happened before 2016?? you BET we can!
"Another ongoing source of anxiety to many in the intelligence community is Trump’s use of his personal cellphone to make calls and to tap out tweets. When Barack Obama became president, he told the Secret Service that he wanted to keep his Blackberry, in order to stay in touch with a few trusted friends. So the National Security Agency built him a one-of-a-kind device, which was stripped of almost all functions (no phone, no apps, etc.) and heavily encrypted, with codes and passwords altered routinely. Trump’s phone has no such features. Specialists say it should be assumed that everything he says and does on the phone is intercepted by any of a dozen foreign governments.
The New York Times also recently reported that Kushner and Ivanka Trump have used the private messaging service WhatsApp for official communications. Though WhatsApp is encrypted, cybersecurity specialists say it can easily be hacked by professionals.
The Trump White House is a clover field for spies, and Mar-a-Lago is its lushest garden. Whoever sent Yujing Zhang to Palm Beach would do better, next time, to apply for club membership in advance. It’s unlikely that Trump would care. He would probably welcome receiving the fee."
President Skidmark is a major security threat...in addition to being a loser as a person.

But we know the word Trump used wasn't WIMP.
For many situations, the word wimp would be a reasonable substitute...but not for Trump's usage.
