I agree. I think she wanted to preserve it, but I would’ve used it at 14-11.Seacoaster(1) wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 4:23 pmAgreed. I think she waited because it was her last one.

Colossal choke. One for the annals of infamy.

Worst blown lead since probably the MD-UVA men's QF game in 2019. And Northwestern doesn't have a crossbar as a potential scapegoat.

What a fourth quarter. Just insane.

It was the talent of the Richmond Spiders that put UNC on her back at got it done.

Wow. I don't know how many people read the USA Lacrosse Magazine article about Geiersbach, but it stands out even more now. What a mental comeback for Moreno. Heartbreaking and gut-wrenching for NU. What a great game, great for the sport. Reminds me of the BC-UNC semi in 2019.

Great comeback by UNC. Momentum is a fickle thing. Credit to UNC.

That was just unbelievable!!! No way UNC was coming back from that deficit and derailing the runaway train that was NU, just no way....oh, wait.
The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, feel bad for the NU girls after such an incredible performance but you've sure got to tip your hat to UNC here.
Happy for Aldave, she was huge on the draw down the stretch. Felt bad for her when she came back from her injury while at ND, just wasn't anywhere near the player she was before the injury....she sure has bounced back now though.
This is one of the best comebacks I've ever seen. Amazing.

Was cheering for NU in this game, and was stating to look for people to blame for this loss, but you have to hand the credit to UNC. What a comeback for the Tar Heels
Re: Semifinal No. 1 -- UNC v. Northwestern 5/27 -- 3:00 pm
Indeed. UNC out shot NW 40-29. UNC took a lot of bad, poorly placed shots early. Shot placement was much better in 2nd half and Geiersbach was straight fire in the 4th Q.
