It's not going to rain continuously all day long on Friday. It's thunderstorms in late May, there are breaks in the rain. Weather.com always overstates the threat of rain for any particular day. I am super into Meteorology and follow it quite closely. AccuWeather is better at forecasting, they are more realistic and do not predict continuous rain all day long. They are right 99% of the time. Worst case scenario, the games will be played on Saturday if they have to and the schedule will be adjusted. There isn't a scenario where the games don't get played this weekend. The NCAA has contingencies, some of which I am sure they don't release to the public. Moving the game indoors is likely the absolute LAST option. Hope this helps!

So Joe – if you had to sum up both of these teams in one sentence – what would you say about each one? And which team does the wet weather favor, if any?

If anything I think it favors Maryland in that game, just because BC played some many of their games indoors this season compared to MD. Definitely UNC in the other game, because they are used to playing on their admittedly sloppy field on weekly basis. NW plays indoors a lot just like BC does.

Looks like most are thinking BC will come away with this one. Hmmm. I going with Maryland. Their wins in the tournament so far have been impressive. As a second seed, I don't any of their opponents were easy. Come on it's Duke and Florida and the Terps beat them by 10+ goals (lets remember BC lost to Duke). Also, I really did not expect Maryland to beat Northwestern in the regular season but they did, and convincingly. This team just keeps on getting better and better. I just don't think any of the teams in the Final Four has improved and grown as Maryland did. I'm definitely surprised by the Terps this season. If I had to bet my life on it, I would have to go with Maryland tomorrow. BC is amazing but who knows. We will all find out. Looking forward to this game.
