I'm not good at the quote from another thread option but Wathcherinthewoods -on Stanford thread-suggested there were serious conversations being held about their staff. I don't know if Spencer is on year 2 of a 3 yr contract.
Cal program was eliminated and reinstated correct?

Was it that long ago? Have to stop relying on my memory!wlaxphan20 wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 11:09 pmYes a while ago I think, 2011?tothedraw wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 9:14 pm I'm not good at the quote from another thread option but Wathcherinthewoods -on Stanford thread-suggested there were serious conversations being held about their staff. Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
If true and the Stanford job opens, maybe Rob Brey, Vanderbilt Assoc. head coach could make the move. He has help guide Vanderbilt to a few good seasons, helped groom some honorable mention AA's and led a high powered offense.
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
Is there any update on who is getting the Princeton job?
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
.
I see no chance if the job opens that Stanford hires a male.

If she doesn't, I would imagine she would be a hot property.

Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
I'm hoping for Jenn at Princeton and Tara Singleton at Hopkins.
The Hopkins thing to me is quite perplexing because I'm still mystified as to why Janine is retiring? My hope is that she will go somewhere and build a program. She has the personality and knowledge to do it. Lacrosse needs more Janine Tuckers.
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
Janine is one of my absolute favorites and has so much to offer! Maybe a Baltimore area High School needs a dynamic change. Shorter season, commitment, travel etc. Parents and pay are downsides. Building a program is a huge undertaking.LarryGamLax wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 3:10 pm

You can add UNC-Charlotte to the list of open coaching positions
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
Two interesting HC jobs now posted. George Washington and the new program at University of South Florida.
GW should be a decent opportunity . Good school. Local recruiting area, etc.
USF-live in Tampa, Florida and start a program at a school with a great commitment to sports success.

Got another name to throw in the mix - James Delaney , HC at the University of Indianapolis. They just won their first D2 National Championship and the man knows what he is doing.
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
Any word on Princeton? One would think that Jen Cook gets that job, feel like she has earned it. Being involved on the club side of things, I have heard a big ACC assistant opening is coming and a solid Ivy League assistant opening is coming soon. Not sure where they are headed... Nice start to the carousel!

Absolutely, he has steadily built a championship team over the last several years. Congrats to UIndy!LarryGamLax wrote: ↑Sun May 22, 2022 5:13 pm Got another name to throw in the mix - James Delaney , HC at the University of Indianapolis.
