What will the predicted warm weather do to the games? Favor teams with depth who can platoon?

Looks like Columbus will be in the mid-60’s with a good chance of rain on Sunday. Hempstead will be high-70’s/low-80’s and partly cloudy on Saturday.PizzaSnake wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 4:56 pm What will the predicted warm weather do to the games? Favor teams with depth who can platoon?
Sounds fairly pleasant for lax all around.

Hotter than the players are used to in Hempstead. Penn might have problems. Can Handley lay as much as usual in this warmer weather?MoralTerpitude wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 5:55 pmLooks like Columbus will be in the mid-60’s with a good chance of rain on Sunday. I think Handley should be ok, but I am concerned about the effects of the heat on Penn’s defensive midfield, where they have good frontline players but don’t go very deep.

Word out of Philly is that Lavelle is back from suspension. Happened late this week, so he didn’t get any practice in. 4 week layoff is tough on the kid. Nobody knows how much he’ll play. Could be a nice boost for the Quakers on D. Help with depth on a hot day, at a minimum.

I’m really hoping no one answers your question because it’s none of your business.
What’s the deal with grown arse adults prying into kids’ personal lives? Does it really matter to you what the reason was for? Jeezus.

Re: 2022 NCAA Mens LAX tournament
I’m fully on board for putting games in other locales. It’s good for the game where it’s growing and for the most part the traditional sites have rarely brought in grand attendance. I was at the Q finals in Indianapolis a few years ago and it was a fine venue and it was great to meet the fans who came from reasonable distances like Louisville, Cincinnati, Columbus, Detroit and Chicago that otherwise would not have attended. I was planning on making the 5 hr drive to Columbus to see the games and the added attraction of one of the country’s grand stadiums, but was deterred by the possibility of thunderstorm delays.PizzaSnake wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 12:49 pmI thought it is always about improving the “game”, giving back, etc. In this case, helping stem the opioid problem in Ohio-tucky.joewillie78 wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 9:57 amThat's an easy one as its all about the almighty dollar. Who came up with the current crease violations rule? That needs a revamp by the rules committee. Score goal. Get blasted into edge of crease. Goal waved off. But offense gets a 30 second man up? Am I missing something here?

the sport we love, just can’t get out of its own way.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

True dat. It would seem so on that rule. Literally a layup score called back to provide a man advantage to likely...not score. Plus clock burn.youthathletics wrote: ↑Sat May 21, 2022 12:49 pmthe sport we love, just can’t get out of its own way.

It was a bad call. The ball was it the goal before the hit. It should have been a late hit and a good goal.
