ESPN Crew is Unlistenable

Re: ESPN Crew is Unlistenable
Any idea why there was no onscreen shot clock graphic in the second game?
I would think that such a thing wouldn't be venue specific; if they could have one for the Princeton game I don't see why they couldn't have one for the Penn game.

I thought Jules Heningberg was terrific on the call for the Penn/Richmond game. Broke down the game in detail without getting in the weeds, and stuck to what was happening on the field.
Re: ESPN Crew is Unlistenable
Agreed. And I bet he gets paid way less than the QuACkers. Somebody should point that out to the Disney bean counters.

Though if I go the rest of the weekend without hearing "It just doesn't get any better than this" again, I'll be a happy man.random observer wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 4:54 pm I thought Jules Heningberg was terrific on the call for the Penn/Richmond game. That, and "What a momentous...moment."

Carc being pretty quiet (for him) on the Yale-StJ game ...
Re: ESPN Crew is Unlistenable
"make it, take it" is so cringe
Re: ESPN Crew is Unlistenable
Carc is mostly cringe, which is why it's good when he talks less.
Sad news: he's going to be in Ithaca tomorrow. I was hoping for Boyle.

Carc calls the ball ‘the rock’ like it’s 1987, absolute buffoon. Both games without the clown three were so much more enjoyable.

I will say I did like the “let the bodies hit the floor” comment in the second half of the UVA-Brown game.

Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

The 3 amigos should never do a game together. Nor should any two.

Most commentators are like the braying jackhole sitting behind you at the game who won’t STFU.

I’ll never forget sitting behind a guy that kept saying “Brady needs to make more back shoulder throws” during the entire game. He had to be 5”10 /250.PizzaSnake wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 3:40 pm Most commentators are like the braying jackhole sitting behind you at the game who won’t STFU.

Re: ESPN Crew is Unlistenable
I tried, I really, really tried but I just went to the golf telecast. I'm done!!!. Cancelling ESPN+ today and maybe cancelling college lacrosse that isn't on BIG or ACC (without Anish or Carc). At least when you had them as a three person team only one game at a time was ruined. Does any ESPN management watch the telecasts or are they too focused on Disneyland. I'll get my lax fix watching NEWest 1 games on Locallive TV.
Re: ESPN Crew is Unlistenable
I'm listening to the Cornell radio guys. So much better.

Available online? Or only old-school?
Found it, I think. Commercial…
