Rumor has it that Musk is going to start charging user fees of some form. I guess "free speech" isn't really going to be free.

To me this is beginning to look like a Trump strategy. Fleece the Trump base. Tell them what they want to hear while stealing their money.

How can this be... the FLP toadstools on this forum tell us that only the republicans are guilty of extremism... :D
I get more gut laughs at ‘liberals melting down’ stories than a Chris Rock concert.

If it’s not Elon Musk triggering them, it’s just something else.
Yes. It's a reaction to Musk's obvious gaslighting.

In what world are Joe Biden and Nancy Freaking Pelosi.....on any subject.....to the left of Barack Obama?? Yeah, right.

That's next level stupid, and obviously, Musk is catering to Petey, who gets excited anytime he thinks that the libs are distressed.....this is the Republican party in a nutshell----100% of their attention is on "the libs". 0% of their attention is on "the people".

It's why nothing gets done. It's why DeSantis won't deregulate in Florida, and get rid of pointless laws that do NOTHING to make Florida a better State. It's why DeSantis made Florida Government 10% in a single year. It's why housing costs are exploding for DeSantis' base, and he's not even TALKING about how to fix that problem.

But yep, so long as the libs are supposedly upset (total strawman, btw, but whatever) Republican voters won't notice that their party isn't governing.

Oh well. You can only explain this so many times......

You might be over-analyzing the gut laughs we get. Sometimes things are just funny, no need for deeper thoughts. And yes, libs being distressed about nothing is kinda funny!!!

Never said they weren't funny. What I said was: this is the ENTIRETY of the Republican's idea of governance....and you and your buds fall for it. Every. time. "Stick it to the libs" or "look at the bad stuff the libs think" isn't the same thing as running a country.

Call me when DeSantis governs like a real conservative, Pete. Gut Florida's laws surrounding opening and operating a business. Start there.

I’ve never believed that Democrats came close to the majority of Americans. This Ian Mckelvey quote explains it so well.

Using the media to shape public opinion wasn’t good enough.

Using the IRS to silence opponents wasn’t good enough.

Using the FBI to intimidate opponents wasn’t good enough.

Using Twitter to change the outcome of elections wasn’t good enough.

They now need a Ministry of Truth.

Feel free to point out any lie in Ian’s quote. He’s over the target. And correct. It’s a shame what Democrats have done and are doing. A misinformation agency is literally chefs kiss ‘1984’ socialism.

Even if it's a joke, that's what happens when one party is the only one to govern. Governance is effectively about trying a policy out, seeing how that policy is implemented and determining if it is a success. When it isn't, reasonable governing people go back to the drawing board. The choice between the Democratic Party and the GOP was once a choice among policy ideas. No longer. The GOP doesn't want to govern; doesn't want to resolve immigration; doesn't want to make health care more available and cheaper to struggling Americans; doesn't want to ensure there is clean water and clean air. It wants to deploy division -- made up problems, attacks on the weak -- to exercise the emoluments of office-holding. It's actually remarkably sad that the GOP is so completely unmoored to principle and so enamored with "office." It's killing the country.

So dumb
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

You have this habit of saying people said something when they’ve never said anything.

Where did I say I want the government to ‘intervene’? They’re doing enough damage as it is, we don’t need them mucking it up worse.

This might be the most incompetent administration to ever occupy the White House. No one has any faith in anything they do. We’re fortunate this guy hasn’t accidentally launched nukes.

Facepalm. Pete, try and keep up.

You're implying it's Bidens fault that the market is down.

So....unless you're a glutton for punishment, you think that they should step in, and fix this situation.

He is the reason for the markets downturn. He’s stepped in enough. And we are all stepping in the guano droppings he’s leaving behind. His actions, leading to a complete lack of confidence by business, are directly impacting the economy.

What he needs to do is demand his cabinet secretaries halt all further laws and socialist rules. If they’d simply go to a rubber room and inconsolably scream about Donald Trump, like many Fanlax FLP do, we’d all be better off.

We definitely don’t want him or his administration doing anything further. Gracias, America. I really miss no inflation and a roaring economy.

Translation for everyone: I"m an infant who can't tell you what Biden did to make markets go lower. But I'm gonna pretend like everyone here is as Stupid as I pretend to be....and blame that little letter D.

Ten seconds ago, you were praising DeSantis for giving out big raises to Union workers at socialist schools, Pete.

Now here you are, whining about socialism. Do you not realize how mind numbingly stupid you sound?

You're a grown adult who doesn't understand what socialism means, Pete.

Do you need me to mail you a dictionary?

Translation: I miss it when Trump increased the size of the government by 60% in four years, borrowing all the money for it-----which is a large part of why we have domestic inflation. And I'm going to pretend I"m too stupid to notice that Trump made the economy good via government spending.

You're the closest thing we have to the hippies that Don Draper mocked on Mad Men, Pete. Get a job and haircut, and contribute to America for a change.

All that extra spending under Trump yet little inflation. Hmmm.

Try again, Tonto.
