My concern, given that the committee's last two top 10s included first Jacksonville and then OSU, is that they start to get funny with how they hand out those at-larges...mainly because I imagine it'll come at the expense of the IL, not the ACC.

That said, and barring any shenanigans, I agree with your list. Any of those teams on your out list have legitimate gripes, especially OSU and Harvard, but all of them had a clear chance to play their way in through prevailing on the field of play and didn't get it done.

Agreed.

OSU has serious gripes.

And if anyone says "well, they should have beat Rutgers or Maryland," I'll just note Notre Dame's resume. Easy to look good and like you're coming together as a team when you're playing Cuse x2, Marquette, UNC, and Duke x2.
Yes, but Duke is a top-10 RPI team, so ND has that going for them. Though perhaps only one of those wins counts, since the other was by only one goal.
they will both count, it doesn't matter if it's only by a goal.

Not sure how you put ND in over OSU when they lost to them head to head.

They have a higher RPI and two top ten wins vs zero top ten wins, that’s how.

Same way they put Notre Dame over Cornell in 2019 when Cornell beat ND AT ND.
We Cornell fans will never forget that and not feel one bit of sorrow for another team that gets screwed by the committee the same way we got screwed.

by rule (if you can parse them), cornell should've been in over hopkins first. not notre dame.
unless you love sos as a prereq 1st and foremost.

Have you been reading the Hopkins threads? Those dudes are in really bad moods and attacking anyone who takes shots at Hopkins. The TOSU fans are much more mellow and do not attack your family members, your school, your IQ,etc. Like those ruthless Hopkins dudes. You can bring up that Cornell should have gotten in over Hopkins but 'I'm trying to stay on their good side for the protection of my family.

Do you have Brown, Cornell and Penn/Yale ahead of Princeton for an at large bid?

I can see scenarios where Cornell and/or Brown get screwed over. But Princeton? How can you claim you're using RPI as one of your key metrics and then leave out the team with the #2 RPI?

Never gonna happen.

No, this was no particular order. Princeton will probably be a 3 or 4 seed. I think if Yale wins they will be #3 and Princeton #4. MD #1, GT #2, Virginia #5, Penn #6, ND #7 and Cornell #8.

I believe Brown may be the most at risk.

Brown is fine. They have the RPI over Notre Dame, Harvard, and Ohio State and also two more top 10 wins and two fewer bad losses than Duke (and three more top 10 wins than UVA). Whichever criteria the committee values the most, Brown has its boxes checked over enough other bubble teams to be in the field. Probably won't get a home game but they should be feeling good.

Agree. If ND jumps Brown in RPI as they might pending Yale/Penn result, it would come down to Brown and OSU. Don’t feel wonderful about the committee applying their criteria objectively here.
