Loyola deserved to win. Lehigh can’t get out of their own way.

If Navy ends up winning the tournament, they probably will end up avenging their three conference losses. They are to:

Lehigh
Loyola
BU

That’s a tough ask but it would be a heck of a story.

I thought I heard no one has ever won it having to play all three games.

I didn’t know that but I did know that Lehigh won it by only playing one game.

I suppose I may have misunderstood commentators in Loyola Lehigh game Friday evening, or they where wrong. Thanks for clarifying.

So, tournament predictions? Does BU rebound from this possible "timely" loss to Army and win it for the first time?

Bucknell had their chances & Navy looked out of sorts and never could get it going.

Here are my predictions:

Loyola over Army

Lehigh over BU

1. The revenge factor will work in both victors' favor.
2. The two victors, due to playing on Tuesday, will be more in the game-groove.
3. Yes, this was a year ago. But Loyola and Lehigh were supposed to meet each other in the title game. It got cancelled due to COVID. They will be starving to get back there and actually play in it this time.

I don't think you understand how much the Army kids love sleeping in a hotel.

Lehigh’s fogo and goalie didn’t have their best efforts in the last game and only lost by 1. If Leggett is healthy and they can clean up the turnovers I could see a Lehigh win.

I like Loyola this time of the year because of Toomey- as well their 5th years have something to prove. If they can limit the Army shot count and get some help from their keeper they can pull one out.

Lehigh 22 turnovers today including one three seconds coming out of a timeout in OT. Truly awful.

Something only a SA dad would understand and a stat that simply can not be measured.

What a battle going on. Knotted at 12 with 330 remaining.

Lehigh’s FOGO & Goalie did their part but the 22 turnovers, poor clearing, Man Up woes, and not having Leggett healthy did the hawks in.

I guess I underestimated the value of a hotel bed and the continental breakfast for the Cadets. Great game to watch- Nichtern and Abshire came to play.

Finals will be a good one. Coin toss

Congrats to Army on a well-played game last night. Quite an entertaining game that really coulda gone either way. Good luck to them Sunday evening against BU. That one should be fun and highly competitive too.

Really hoping Army eats BU and can get over the hump in the NCAAs and win a game or two. Nichtern is a fine player and clearly the engine on that team. Here’s hoping he can help change all the lousy luck the Knights seem to have in May.

What’s “eats BU”? Is this something we should be discussing over in Hamsterdam? :).

Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah
