21-5 including goals from Shea, Turner (1st ever) and Greene who hadn’t played in 6 weeks.

But really the story is the defense who just made Bryant look like my fighters under 9 team. Firth, Christiansen, Horton and Trujillo were all nasty. Not to mention Ryan and the SSDMs.

Terrific game. Dattellas and Madonna were off the hook.

Hope Herlihy is ok. Was in a sling at end of game.0
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold

Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

All 14 shots in Q3 were on goal. We got 9.

Q2 & Q3 we ran off 13-1.

Great win, hopefully peaking at the right time!
The Herlihy injury looked bad unfortunately
Holtby picked it up after a few worrying minutes at the start

In the replay I couldn’t tell how he hurt his shoulder after he slipped to
The ground.

There’s already some footage from the game today on the inter web!

That was the best, most complete game this team has played since any of them stepped on campus. I am worried about Herlihy. It's either a rotator cuff issue (which could be ok by Saturday if it's not a tear). Or, it's a dislocated shoulder. Either way, Johnny H. draws a lot of attention to go along with his scoring. Props to the coaches for running 5 attackmen and a full 2nd midfield. The D was aggressive without sliding too much or too soon. Holtby got better throughout the game. Coach Brundage came up with a great plan for the offense. Archer being more of a decoy early on opened the field up for the rest of the O. I don't think any team has dropped 21 on Bryant since they have been in D I, NEC or out of conference. Great game Statesmen! Good luck Saturday!

Anyone smelling a Hobart victory on Saturday? The Statesmen may well be peaking at the right time. And, the truth is, when it comes to the NEC Tournament, I think Saint Joseph's, until they win their first title, will remain a bit snake-bit during it.

Nah man they’re the best in league. We’re lucky to be there. Get out of here with that talk. We will see you on Sunday when we are licking our wounds.

Well. Hobart has given Pressler yet another nightmare.....

Also, too bad Hobart has to travel all the way back to Geneva.... advantage St. Joe.

What an incredible team win in all phases against a quality opponent and coach. Raise the Orange and Purple high...never shame them ever....They represented the colors well and the spirit was with them all game ....my only regret is that they can't roll over 10 of those goals to tomorrow......May the spirit lead them to a Championship

Smain, I think you’ve missed a few beat downs we took in the NEC and when we played then in the 98 and 02 playoffs when he was at Duke since he left OwU 35yrs ago.

Very true farfrom, but he wins in the regular season and then is humiliated in the playoffs.... he won't sleep too well for awhile....

SMAIN, I do hope your comment regarding traveling back to Geneva was "tongue in cheek"?
