Delaware played hungry. Good win. After that , it was disgraceful. Bad look. The one official called a ward ? A ward ! And prior to that’s this same clown called a phantom slash. Ugly ugly

Good win. 12-8 over Fairfield. Back in first place and in the CAA Tournament. 15 saves for Brennan. Some key saves in the fourth quarter when the Stags cut the lead to three. A few sloppy turnovers but nice job by Musci and the Black and Gold with a strong road win. Avanzato, Shilling and Stewart with 2 goals apiece.

Towson turned the ball over, ball was in Fairfield’s stick and Avanzato was riding. Shot clock was never reset but Avanzato got the ball back and scored but they called a shot clock violation. And then there were 2 interference calls on us when we were clearing, didn’t see any inference though I could’ve missed it.

Congrats to Hofstra as they beat Towson 15-14 but not a good loss against a team that might not make the CAA Trny. Defense and goaltending were not stellar today. Great comeback though down five and tying the game up twice. But couldn't win the key face-offs and the Pride deserved this win as they never trailed. If Delaware beats Fairfield, Towson plays UMass on Thursday. If Fairfield wins, Towson gets No. 1 seed and Fairfield gets No. 2. 9-6 Delaware at this point.

DeMaio sets shot record for a season and had four goals. Just 11 turnovers. Couldn't stop McIntosh who had five goals and for some reason, started out with a shorty on him. Eventually changed after Hofstra put up 7 goals in the first quarter.

Expecting a close game on Thursday. Saturday it looked like the team wasn't playing for anything, as they played sloppy for the majority of the game. Was good to see them fight back after a 5 goal deficit, they will need to limit the simple mistakes on Thursday if they want a shot at another CAA title. Any of these 4 teams could win it this year. As always, winning faceoffs and shot selection/placement will be a huge factor.

Any one of three teams could win it,

the 4th, host, is just there as a punching bag.

The ol' reverse psychology trick. If there was a league where the "punching bag" could win, it's the CAA. Every team in this league is beatable this year, just not a very strong league across the board.

You could flip a coin and have just as good odds of trying to project who wins the conf. It’s a total guess this year, as it is many years in the CAA

Brennan was 42 % vs Hofstra. Many were not his fault, simple isos beating short sticks. Two guys scoring 9 goals on 10 shots was very odd for Hofstra. But, overall Brennan has been outstanding in CAA play, and he wasn’t seeing it last Saturday. But, his defenders did him no favors w too many hands free. Drexel at home 46-47 vs the last three opponents. They can beat Delaware. 16-15 (L) last time. I would like to see teams defend Del. differently behind the goal. Ward at X is the switchboard operator. Disrupt that and you cut there arm off. They have two guys who sit on the wings ( Kurtz & Robinson) with a robe on smoking a cigar waiting for feeds. Towson matched up well vs UMASS last game. Keep the turnovers to a minimum. The two losses in CAA play they dug a hole early. Any shot to win the conference that can’t happen Thur, or Sat.

It really is anybody's tournament. Towson could lose the opener or win the whole thing. They just haven't been consistent all season. Not on defense, not on offense. Teams are going to go after their shorties all day. Offensively, they played well enough to win against Hofstra, though probably should have had 20 goals with all the layups missed. If Brennan is locked in and seeing the ball and Constantinides can hold his own, they can win it all despite their issues.

I don’t normally like ties when naming 1st teams,

but with Brennan and Knote, co-first team goaltenders, it is
difficult to pick one over the other.
