Agree 100%, great kid (really man now) who did everything the right way. While I don't think SU was thrilled to or advised him to move on I think your general point is correct, he's been at SU 5+ years and the roster has now completely turned over and will so again this fall.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 10:21 amI wish him well. I know a team captain at a CAA school and his coach advised him to move on because he had spent so much time on campus. It was a selfless move. Kid was an AA. I wish Dordevic well. He doesn’t owe anyone anything.JeremyCuse wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 10:17 amIt's been out there for a few weeks now in the rumor mill that he had changed his mind about coming back. SU has a major roster turnover happening and I think he's looking to make a run for a title which won't happen here next season. Guy has been here 5 years, almost all of his teammates are gone, he was ready for a new start.

Re: Syracuse 2022
I think that was literally one guy on here (Dmac), and I think his frustration was mis-directed. Curry and Tucker had to lead the offense and take a lot of shots, the offense around them wasn't ready or just not up to the task against ACC and upper level opponents. Once a couple guys got back from injury his numbers leveled off a bit.

Best of luck to him.....he left it all on the field, that's for sure.JeremyCuse wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 10:34 amAgree 100%, great kid (really man now) who did everything the right way. This surprises me a bit. I’d assume his goal is PLL. He’s had a good thing going at Cuse. Moving is always a gamble, especially if the new coach sees something in other players and minutes start to get thinner.a fan wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 10:54 amBest of luck to him.....he left it all on the field, that's for sure.JeremyCuse wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 10:34 amAgree 100%, great kid (really man now) who did everything the right way. Re: Syracuse 2022
This might pain Syracuse fans, but I think it’s either Maryland or Duke, and that’s it.
Re: Syracuse 2022
I don't think he stays in the ACC. Maryland or Georgetown make a lot of sense.

Re: Syracuse 2022
I'd put him at attack; wherever he went. Georgetown esp needs dodging from the attack, he'd provide a lot of it. And if he went to Maryland, he'd pretty easily slide into Wisnauskas' spot.

Re: Syracuse 2022
He's from Oregon as is Ross Scott who is having a great year. They surely know each other. Mitch Bartolo is graduating. With Brian Cameron coming back, there is one open attack spot available which he could slide into. With the entire second line coming back, as well as Knobloch and a hopefully healthy Sprock, he could easily be slotted into the midfield also.
You can put him anywhere. Brecht's penchant for moving transfer mids to attack, you'd have to believe that is where he would go. He would fit in nicely with the open run and gun style Rutgers employs.
You'd have to think every school in the country wants him. Surely there will be a tremendous amount of competition for whoever lands his services.

Re: Syracuse 2022
With no insult to RU, my guess is that he'll want to go to a school with a better chance of winning a ring. But I'd love to be wrong. His playing at RU would be fun.

Re: Syracuse 2022
With him coming, along with other transfers who haven't been announced, he'd likely have that chance. Next season looks wide open. I don't see any Maryland's next year, not even Maryland. Perhaps Uva will be an odds on favorite, but would he want to go to another Acc school? Especially that one?
I doubt he even knows at this point.

Early schools being mentioned are G-town and Maryland with some thought to potentially Denver if he wants to go get closer to home. Your guess is spot on, I would be shocked if it was Rutgers.
Re: Syracuse 2022
If he goes to Denver, then winning a ring isn't the most important factor. I'm not saying he won't, but it's all a guess at this point. He's certainly fielding calls from schools other than those three, this I can tell you.JeremyCuse wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 5:01 pmEarly schools being mentioned are G-town and Maryland with some thought to potentially Denver if he wants to go get closer to home. Hence the closer to home line about Denver. I am sure RU would love to have Tucker (what school wouldn't) but he's looking to chase a ring from what we have heard, that isn't the Knights.1766 wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 5:03 pmIf he goes to Denver, then winning a ring isn't the most important factor.
