Tillman is an amazing coach and this is a a historic team in the making.
However, to think that no other team can beat the Terp's is crazy.
Of course they can be beat but it will be tough.
With every win the pressure grows on the Terps as they march down the path of going undefeated.
Should be fun to watch.

Any team can be beat of course. Odds are in the Terps favor. For that to happen, whoever the team that does it would have to have the best game they've ever played, coincide with the worst game the Terps have played. Some funny bounces, and some breaks. The Terps are just on a different level. I think we will be talking about this team as historic. When you watch them play, there are no areas to exploit. A+ talent, depth all over the field, high level coaching, and playing with purpose.

The one thing you might hope to even the field is if you can get them deep in the 4th Q making them feel pressure. They haven't really felt that yet, not in a game where they were down or up by one late in the game. Pressure is a funny thing. With every win comes more of it. They won't be just chasing a championship at some point, they will be chasing history.

That's all you can say. They have a very veteran team that you'd think can handle it. Being in the same conference you hate think of them as unbeatable, but they are damn near close. You hate seeing them beat up on your team as a fan, but if you remove yourself from that position and just watch as a lacrosse fan, this Maryland team is remarkable. It's the most complete team I think we may have ever seen at the college level.

You get the sense that Maryland would beat any team 9 out of 10 times. Will that 1 time happen? Possible. Unlikely.

There isn't a team in modern U.S. men's major sports history that could beat any opponent 9 out of 10 times.

Really can’t quibble with nearly any of the selections. I wondered who beat Donville on the first team, and it was Knoblach, who’s probably been the most consistent influence to Rutger’s success. Rall was a good pick over Geppert, and Ross Scott was rightly on the second team, not the first. I would have put Degnon over Zawada, because the latter put up his numbers on lesser competition, whereas Degnon has been more consistent, but obviously Zawada’s numbers are really good. I like that four of the five main awards went to Maryland, as they should have for such a dominant team.

So almost two-week break before the B1G semis. Any opinions on this? Is the break good/bad/neutral for the Terps?

It's fine. Had the same thing last year. Couple guys had bandages or coverings last week on knees/ankles, so probably good to rest up a little bit before the stretch run

So it begins…Terps resting will help. More guys are banged up from their tough schedule than we know. Hopkins will lose but I do not see another game where all starters are out for the 4th qtr. Hope I’m wrong. PM will have his coaching capability on center stage. Another blowout will send Hopkins thread and fans screaming.

Anyone a little surprised or worried Hopkins kept the game relatively close compared to the first time they played. Don't have access to B1G network but was just following score so all I could really judge from was the scores. Maybe someone could comment who actually got to watch the game?

jays scored a few toward the end when the game was pretty much over. plus it's much harder to dominate a team the second time. i wouldn't be too worried.

No and no. That's a pretty common pattern in sports. Playoffs make for closer games, that's the magic of March Madness. Back to back games against the same opponent usually bring them closer as well. Plus, Hopkins isn't exactly an untalented team. Epstein and Grimes are better recruits than any combo Maryland has. They are struggling, but they can still match up with anyone.

Still, it was a rout by most standards.

Best Maryland team I have ever seen.

Best off-ball offensive play I have ever seen.

The best thing about this Maryland team is that they are truly a team … you can’t just focus on stopping a few players. Everyone they put on the field can make you pay.

And they are pretty much good at everything.

Anyway, you Terps disgust me. I despise you all.

Good luck the rest of the way.

I love Dixon, but was anyone else rolling their eyes when he was pretending like there is any question whatsoever as to the terps being the top seed?

Terps,

33 and 2 since 2020,

one goal losses to Villanova and Virginia,

so avoid the ‘V’ teams.
