Agreed, I probably have Salisbury dropping behind CNU/RIT/Union. If you ignore the brand name/familiarity, their resume is very good but not unimpeachable, and IMO both RIT and Union have better resumes/strength of wins. Zero chance SU should be behind any of the two-loss teams though, especially not a two-loss team they beat. The undefeated teams are very interesting wild cards. I doubt anyone would actually drop Salisbury behind Bowdoin or Dickinson at this point, but if they both keep winning it will be very difficult to justify keeping them behind teams with losses.

Really fun times in D-III right now. CNU looks like the 800-pound gorilla, but just below them are a lot of very good teams who look like they can make legitimate noise in the tournament.

I feel like the top 20 is becoming pretty clear at this point.

Not a tufts supporter (but I like the uniforms and helmet). My ties are with another top 10 team that I actually dropped this week

My rankings go on who would win a head to head matchup.

I think tufts will beat Bowdoin in a few weeks

1 Christopher Newport - should be unanimous
2 RIT - great quality of wins plus H2H with Union outweigh technically the having worst loss of any of the 1-loss teams
3 Union - great wins, interchangeable with RIT
4 Dickinson - can't ignore them anymore. 15-0 with a bunch of quality wins. Get the edge over Bowdoin because of the OOC win over Cabrini
5 Bowdoin - can't ignore the Polar Bears either. 14-0 with a bunch of quality wins
6 Salisbury - blown out by CNU and needed an all-time choke job to eke out a 20T win against a good but unspectacular Cabrini team.
7 St. John Fisher - coming up on a full month without playing a real opponent
8 Tufts - squarely back on track
9 York - defense still good, offense still hit or miss
10 MIT - weak schedule, but blowing teams out and have the win over Williams
11 St. Lawrence - several quality wins, just don't like the blowout L against SJF
12 Wesleyan - loss to Williams is not a good one
13 Amherst - solid wins, good OOC, 4/5 losses are to top 15 opponents
14 Lynchburg - lesser wins, 3/4 losses to top 10 opponents
15 Cabrini - absolutely zero win depth. The best thing on their resume is that they kept it close with ranked teams, but the Cavs don't have a single win worth telling anyone about. I don't like them this high, but everyone behind them is even more flawed
16 Gettysburg - a few solid wins, five losses to top 15 opponents...but that loss to Swarthmore is absolutely inexcusable and tanks their resume
17 RPI - turns out the RIT was a fluke. Need to finish strong against Ithaca and in the LL tourney or they'll be sitting at home
18 Denison - don't like the loss to Grove City, but everything else says this is a team that's in/around the top 25
19 Hamilton - Conn College loss is bad; everything else says this is a legit lacrosse team. Close Ls vs. Amherst, Bowdoin, Wesleyan, and Tufts
20 Williams - was ready to drop them out entirely before they beat Wesleyan on Sunday
21 Stevenson - same thought as Cabrini. Mustangs' best win is by 1 goal over Denison. Otherwise, this is a nothing resume
22 Middlebury - meh. Should be lower, but everyone below here is flawed
23 Ithaca - beating Clarkson by 1 is probably their best win. Have been blown out by top opponents, plus have a very iffy loss to Cortland
24 Catholic - #growthegame. John Carroll gets the boot after losing to B-W
25 W&L - haven't played a real opponent in almost a month, so tough to evaluate. This was not a very good team at the start of the season, but seemingly have found their footing

Also considered: no one, other than F&M the teams I would consider here generally have very, very weak resumes
