I was unfortunate enough to catch MSNBC a week ago, YA. I've concluded that I don't think that Americans have moved one inch on the political spectrum. They're where they were 20 years ago.

All that's changed, is the arrival of completely horrible, half-wit reasoning when it comes to issues, all fomented... and then exaggerated..... by media and social media. And partisans drink it all in, and the media gets paid. So instead of moving left on that graph....they moved on the Z axis somehow. Z being the line for stupid.

BTW......I didn't think it was possible for MSNBC to get worse in just the few months since I'd seen it. It's SO bad, and over the top ridiculous. Trump broke that channel completely. They're still rolling around in the mud with Trump....it's full on looney tunes. And I only caught about 15 minutes of that ODonnell guy, discussing Trump's contempt of court charge. Yikes.

Going on 4 years now for me, it's just pure shock value at this point 95% of the time. CNN has completely stripped "breaking news" of any of it's former significance.
