I wouldn't be surprised if CNU vs SU gets every vote this week

Re: Game of the week
CNU 16 - SU 10 I think the pace that CNU plays at will cause issues for SU. CNU is very good in transition. CNU is also a very good riding team, this will cause some headaches for SU. This could be CNU's year. The problem is they will have to play SU two more times with the most important coming in the NCAA tournament. In a way this game does not mean too much other then for CNU to get the confidence in knowing then can beat SU.

Re: Game of the week
Is the SU starting goalie healthy? I believe I read he went out with possibly a mid-section/rib injury on Monday? Otherwise, their backups where swiss cheese...all CNU has to do is essentially shoot on goal.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

Re: Game of the week
on paper, CNU wins going away. CNU has played very well all season, and with the exception of a couple of mid-game hiccups, has been very consistent. These are fun teams to watch and this should be a great game and a preview of 2 or 3 games between them this year.

Agreed. CNU only beat Lynchburg and W&L by 4 and 5, both of whom are only 15-20 ranked caliber teams. Now they are going to beat Salisbury by 8? Let’s just hope and expect a good battle between two of the best in D3.
Re: Game of the week
My score wasn’t so much CNU being dominate, it was SU not as strong as usually. Closer games this year. The ST Marys game was an eye opener close game to Stevenson. Something is off right now with SU and CNU is clicking

I agree with Jumbo. Something doesn't seem right with SU and their goalie situation could be a problem. They gave up 14 goals to St. Marys. CNU had a huge lead over Lynchburg, granted the Hornets made a come back but CNU has a lot of firepower. The W&L game was played in lousy weather conditions that probably slowed down CNU some. The W&L goalie is also very good which probably kept it close.
Re: Game of the week
St Marys does have a stud freshman attack. Since Doyle started getting time, he is hitting the back of the net.JustOneTime wrote: ↑Thu Apr 14, 2022 3:37 pm I agree with Jumbo. Jumbo,
Doyle has been terrific, but the engine that drives St Marys is Jude Brown. He is outstanding and opens everything up for everyone. Brown draws the top defender, so Doyle has the 2nd cover guy. With his size and strength he powers by the 2nd defender. Good pickup for SM, as the kid has given them a strong 1-2 punch. Doyle likes to go-t-goal and shoot more, where Brown is a prime feeder who can shoot very well, but if Doyle starts to open up his passing game as well, the sky is the limit. They are a fun team to watch and ran with SU surprisingly.

Jumbo, I assume you'll be back to eat a full plate of crow if Salisbury wins this game? I think this will be a good game, but your prediction seems to be fueled by something other than logic.

It’s just a prediction. I don’t have a kid on either team.LarumVictoia wrote: ↑Thu Apr 14, 2022 7:17 pmJumbo, I assume you'll be back to eat a full plate of crow if Salisbury wins this game? I think this will be a good game, but your prediction seems to be fueled by something other than logic.
