The article clearly says ICE has been instructed to pursue all illegals regardless of criminal activities, past or present, based on the DHS directive of February 2017.old salt wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 3:32 pm In the article '72 linked the only example of arrests of undocumented aliens were those caught in conjunction with the arrest of targeted convicted criminals, which would require no increased ICE manpower.
Plus it pointed out that deportations were lower than previous year due to the diversion of ICE agents to deal with the border crisis of family units & UAC.
The new numbers released Thursday also show a drop in the overall number of arrests made by ICE agents. The 11,178 undocumented immigrants arrested in December mark the lowest monthly total of the Trump administration, which Asher said is a direct result of the migrant caravans that have been flooding the southwest border.
It is all about reducing the immigrant population by any means necessary. Bad Hombres....sure.
