Hoyas just need to worry about themselves. I have said on this chain and others from early in season that Villanova, IMO is very underrated (becoming less so), and will be a tough out. Take care of business vs Providence, Marquette, Loyola and SJU and then there is a big one to end the BE regular season vs Nova.
Also will be interesting to see how DU Nova game plays out next week.
Let’s go Hoyas!
Georgetown 2022
Re: Georgetown 2022
What happened to Owen Mcelroy? Injury?
Re: Georgetown 2022
It’s nothing a few weeks won’t heal. He will be fine and ready to go soon.
Re: Georgetown 2022
Sharfenberger has been very solid in his two games. He made nice saves down the stretch in a close game against Lehigh, and was very consistent against DU. He has given up few rebounds on saves, is calm on clears and has an excellent outlet pass. Yes he benefits from the great D in front of him but he has certainly held his own. Hopefully he can step in next year and do well.
Re: Georgetown 2022
Dylan Watson quietly leading D1 in goals per game. Not even a mention in the mid-season AA conversation. Hopefully, he continues that pace and gets some recognition at seasons end. Would love to see him back for a 5th year too.
Re: Georgetown 2022
Just a quick salute to our transfer portal players. Goodness we did well getting guys that can 1) play and 2) play for Georgetown. They fit in really well with the team and have made a tremendous impact.
Re: Georgetown 2022
And to Dylan Watson getting named to D1 team of the week. Congrats to him and good call Rolldodge.

@Hoya testament to the culture Coach Warne & co. and the last few senior classes have built over the last couple of years that we are able to pull in transfers and integrate them so well within the team

Re: Georgetown 2022
Absolutely, and the culture Coach and team have built will continue to attract the right guys from the transfer portal. I have a feeling this will continue to be a healthy feeder into the program.Hoyafan123 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 7:54 am @Hoya testament to the culture Coach Warne & co. and the last few senior classes have built over the last couple of years that we are able to pull in transfers and integrate them so well within the team
Re: Georgetown 2022
Can't rely on the portal after this summer, it will be dried up after the covid extra year ends, which is next season.
Re: Georgetown 2022
And the kids who are simply unhappy in their programs. It won't be the bonanza it has been recently but it won't be totally barren either.

Re: Georgetown 2022
If you had any question as to how important Haley is to this offense this game will answer it. Hopefully he is not out long.
Re: Georgetown 2022
Did he come back too soon ?
Re: Georgetown 2022
I think just precautionary given the head hit last week. I would look for him to be playing vs Marquette next weekend.

Hats off to the PC goalie. Thought he played outstanding.
Also nice to get the transition game going.
