Brennan plays better in the second quarter, but Drexel still up 7-6 after two. Avanzato with three goals, Koby, DeMaio and Potter with the other three. Offensive midfield has been shut out. Face-offs have been great. Constantinides winning 11 of 15.

Offense giving the ball up way too much.

18 turnovers and the game is tied at 9-9. Thanks to a goal from Avanzato, his fourth. Late third quarter.

Still tied at 9-9 heading into the fourth quarter. Constantinides has won 15 of 21 face-offs. Sloppy game with 18 turnovers for Towson and 14 for Drexel.

Towson with the 13-12 win on an Alex Reid goal with around 2:40 left. Brennan with 16 saves. Huge in the second half. Somehow won a game with 23 turnovers. It helps that Constantinides won 21 of 29 draws. Avanzato with 4 goals and one assist.

What games in the CAA today. Avanzato Koby and Brennan beasts. Avs 4 and 1, Koby 1G and prob 4-5 CTS had him for 1. Dont think Towson has had a face-off performance like that in a long time. SHOUT OUT CONSTANTINIDES.. 21-29!

Brennan was brilliant when it mattered late. It was nice to have Koby back. Gotta clean up some of those mistakes on both ends. Not just the turnovers, but the offsides that led to a Drexel EMO goal and a defensive lapse where DeMaio ran off the field and just left his man wide open with no communication (Drexel goal). Then not clearing the ball at the end that fortunately didn't lead to the game-tying goal (at least throw the ball up to the other side of the field). Need to get more than 39 shots off when your FOGO is that incredible. But huge win for a team that needed a boost of confidence.

Still think they need to tinker with second midfield. MIlani finally gets a goal, but it was on an EMO. He needs to get back into the action whether it's on attack or back to second midfield or first.

Big win. That's the kind of game they haven't been able to pull out last two years. Strong start to CAA play. UMass at home a great chance to grab another W.

Any road win is a big win. Seems like they've been on the road forever. Will be nice to finally get back to the U next Saturday at noon.

Way to gut it out and get the win up in Philly. Faceoffs were huge, especially with the amount of turnovers they committed. As stated by many before, the faceoff wins have such a trickle down effect and gave the defense a little more rest. Moving forward, they will need to clean up the silly turnovers. Having Brennan and Smith back proved to be huge too, looks like there's no goalie controversy! Saturday against UMASS will be another dog fight.

Let’s go, huge win. U mass game basically for 1 seed in CAA playoffs. Nice to have the Leader back on field. Should have been done for season with injury, but not this young man. Let’s go, Let’s go.

Final 12-9 Towson over UMass. Now 2-0 in the CAA. Berkeley and Avanzato with 3 goals apiece. Avanzato with 2 assists. Still committed 16 turnovers but a lot of them came late in the game when UMass was doubling the ball. Much cleaner game than last week when we had 23 turnovers. Face-offs won 10 of 23 after a fast start by Constantinides. Brennan with 16 saves. Basically wire-to-wire. Like the fact that they mixed the midfield around. But Berkeley breaking out after going goal less in his previous four was big.

No doubt. Brennan is the leader back there and Koby Smith was dominant on D.

Was great to be there in person. Defense was super aggressive and team as a whole played with a lot of speed that seemed to overwhelm UMass. Loved the ride. DeMaio and Berkeley are two dodgers team hasn't had in a good bit of time. Trending in the right direction, gotta keep it up with two more road games next two weeks

Great win and the most complete game they have played all year. Brennan and Smith were outstanding, but Zungailia played great as well I thought - his length is rare and causes so many problem. And the D middies played well too, Sillah as a shorty was a nice sight to see. Offensively, the middies got involved early and multiple players scored from the midfield which was huge. Faceoffs didn't go as well as last week, but the wings did a great job. They face a Delaware team that will be as desperate as ever, searching for their first conference win. Sure would be nice to get revenge after getting swept last year.
