Although both teams seem to have taken a step back in terms of competitiveness, I think this will make for a classic matchup between the two rivals. Will Lynchburg finally beat W&L in the regular season with hopes of hosting the ODAC Tournament? Or will W&L turn the tides of their season and beat down a Lynchburg team that has underperformed when playing relevant teams?

Any predictions?
Weird feeling about this game. Although, I think its tight for most of the game on account of W&L defense and goalie play, late run in the 4th or late 3rd make it a comfortable lead for Lynchburg. Could see it being 14-9 Lynchburg.

I think LYN is the clear favorite, but in rivalry games, anything can happen. See, Lynchburg v. W&L in the first matchup last year.

W&L seems to be figuring things out coming into April but I predict a blowout at Lynchburg under the lights. 11-6 maybe 15-6 LYN.

HSC v Noke will be a good one. Both teams haven’t played each other since 2018. HSC is using a freshman LSM at the dot who seems to be getting more comfortable. Possession time will be big factor I think. HSC is down their senior captain defensemen (Hitt) and Noke doesn’t play much defense at all. I take the tigers at home over the visitors 11-7.

Feel the same way about Lynchburg WL. Sydney and Noke played in 19, Sydney won 13-10. No doubt this one comes down to possession time. I’m hoping Noke gets it going and picks up their biggest win this year.

Great game from Noke. Lewis was lights out with 23 saves. Noke looked a bit more buttoned up defensively. Sprinkled in some zone. Sydney looked content with outside shots, thought they settled a bit. Great 3rd quarter run. Had a balanced output offensively, everyone chipping in. Effectively controlled the pace in the fourth and hit the brakes. Good bus ride back to the sunny.

Looking forward to LYN W&L battle tonight! Spags and Moore goalie battle should be good

LYN a bit sloppy. Missing GBs and transition game not sharp.
Brett Rogers not playing. He is the QB of 1st line midfield..
Gulp …

We’ll done W&L.
Home field is your’s again.
Sloppy game for LYN. Dylan Wolfe left game in 2nd Q and without Rogers their offense sputtered.
W&L should enter the rankings.

This team showed a lot guts and grit tonight. Have not seen that in some past games. Congratulations on a job very well done.

Well done by W&L. Ran the clock down on almost every possession and scored with less than 10 several times.

You called it Dehunt. !
They didn’t give Kenny any space to shoot, Lewis isn’t a threat to score from X. Generals SSDMs did great job, always back on the break and then flipped pole to Mitchell was good McCabe move.
NOKE must be looking forward to hosting these Bugs but they should regroup…

I think it’s time to call a spade a spade and say that Lynchburg is not who they were last year. W&L came into Lynchburg and played harder than them. Serious questions as to the toughness and grit of this Lynchburg squad. I haven’t seen it in any of their big games this year.

W&L deserves all the credit for their play tonight.

And suddenly…..the ODAC is wide open.

Rogers out hurt and then Wolf certainly did not help Lynchburg, hopefully they are back for the playoffs if not sooner. W&L had to have their best game of the year to win and they did. The close D, ssdm and goalie played extremely well, and the O played their best game in a long time using extensive possessions. For the first time you n a long while they did not implode and beat themselves. Clean game by both teams. Generals dominated ground balls. It’s looking like it’s a 2 team fight for the title. Will W&L crack top 20 now?
